Hi mariaarvanitaki, welcome to GameBoomers.

I'm not sure what to suggest other than what's already been covered in this thread. This seems to be a problem area in the game.

Have you tried going back to an earlier save and replaying this part through? Be sure to follow the walkthrough exactly.

I did this already three times. Nothing happened. I think the game is over for me.I succeded with the slider puzzle all alone and I stuck with this stuff. I' m not going to do everything from the beginning.

I'm sorry. Maybe when you rested, you can replay and exhaust ALL dialogues from everyone. Maybe that can move you froward.

I had the same problem and went back to the grindstone. I had not clicked on the left side where the belt should be. That opened up the dialog with Manuel

Hello: Well, I waited for awhile to try this game again due to my frustration. I went back and started at the slider puzzle and everything was great until I came to the same place where Nicole tells that the brushes are too big. He does say to come back, then nothing. She doesn't ask for the wedge belt etc, just farewell.I really like this game and hope you can help. Thanks, judy d.

Have you examined the brush in inventory. Right click it and see.

Mag; I have done everything over and over. Is this time for a save? I just cannot get past this. Rush recc. that I start earlier so I did; still same place. I even tried going on with the game and of course it didn't work. I really hope this can be fixed, so I can go on with the next game. Thank you for any ideas. judy D.

Hi Judy,

Do you still have the save I sent to you a short while back? You might try that again, see if you can get it installed. I can re-send it if you no longer have it.
