The solution in the walkthrough doesn't work for me.
There is no way to move tile 5 a second time.

You say you can't move 5 tile the second time.
If you moved tile 2, you have a space to move tile 5. I'll recheck again.

It sounds like stonzee is trying to click on the TILE numbered 5 in the walkthrough's picture, even after it has been moved to another place.

Instead, she should be clicking on POSITION 5 (always the center position regardless of which tile is currently there) right?

Yes - hopefully it is clear in the walkthrough. I stated in the wt - Click on the numbered positions-tiles. Maybe the "tiles" confused stonzee.

Actually, I skipped it. I have played the original version and already knew the computer login. So it wasn't crucial that I solve it.

Although I don't remember all of the coins in the original.
