carol I don't think you will need a WT. I didn't need one and I usually use one. You really have to do a lot of thinking in this one. It takes time and when you get it you wonder why you didn't think of it before. What a great game. Richard

Kjos, I am truly loving this game! Vibrant colors and backdrops, cheeky English humour, great dialogue and music score... And puzzles I can wrap my head around. Except for one.
How do you turn those three stone discs into six in the India temple? Alchemy? Mind-altering substances (stronger than thorn apples?).
I am relatively certain the arrow patterns at the plinth's centre are some kind of clue, only problem is, once you've set a disc into place, you can't move it. Little noodge please?

Darn. Nope I only have the three I found in the sunken temple in India. where are first 3???
EDIT: I checked Simon's w/t and he doesn't seem to mention where to pick up the first three stones. I tried exiting the temple to look outside but the game won't let me.

I did examine the murals. Must not have clicked at the right place or something.
EDIT: excellent! I LOOKED at the murals, but didn't touch! stones obtained. I know have 6. Thanks again Simon

Much obliged Simon. I've crossed over and had the initial conversation with Richard. This is a very nice twist to the "give such and such item to the other person" type of puzzle.
Unfortunately , I don't have much of a choice in using the walkthrough. I have a friend visiting me from the US and he was lucky enugh to download it (but not me, since I live in Canada). But he's going back in a couple of days, so we have to play it rather quickly so I won't be left hanging... But I will definitely buy it once access is granted to Canada.
Superb Game! I will do my very best to forget the walkthrough until I can buy my own copy. Well worth the investment!

I'm on chapter 6 near the underwater temple. Ive gone underwater and scooped the ground with the jug. In the walkthough it says examine the recess. Now, is there *actually* a recess (ie a hotspot called "recess") or is it just the word the walkthrough author has used because I cant find any "recess" just "ground". Is there supposed to be something there to be found? This isnt very clear.
Also Ive covered the reeds with oil but there is no way for me to use them on the carving. What gives?

mj2c,I played the one part over again. just wondering if you have got the cardboard mould. If you do I will tell you how to use it. if not I will tell you how to get it. also do you have the metal rod? The alcove is in the statue under water. Richard

Ive got the cardboard box and Ive dipped it in the water. Ive got the rod and Ive used it to cut away the bushes. I see no statue underwater. where abouts on the screen is it - left, right top bottom? Does the hotspot say "statue" when you mouse over it?
The only underwater hotspots I can see are "ground", "gate" and "temple ruins".

It's in the center of the screen. it's a hole in the front of the temple ruins. Richard
