I love this game and normally I never say that about match 3 games. The only match 3 games I have bought are Puzzle quest 1 and now Puzzle quest 2. I hope they continue with the RPG in puzzle quest 3 more like this one again.

Here is my question I defeated the goblin king and received the necklace which is a quest item.

Where do I teleport to find the area where the hidden door is? What monsters do I fight in the area?

I found one door I think in the bell tower but no way into the door I could just examine it and was told it may take a royal symbol to open it. Is this the quest item I got from the goblin king?

If it is the goblins quest necklace I have no option to use it when I look at it. What do I do to use it?

Is there a walkthrough for this game? I am really stuck here any help would be appreciated.

One more question when you upgrade your equipment it doesn't say how it is upgraded and always expensive. Is it the higher the fist and skull that determines how many hit points or defense points an item has?

Is it better to upgrade or buy new items?

There is no walkthrough on GameZebo or BigFish, not sure if anyone else will write one.

We have a couple playing members, hopefully they'll be here to help.

Sherryah, I'm just getting started on this game and my memory is already getting hazy of what I've already done (that's what I get for playing more than one game at a time!).

Having said that, I *think* what you do with the goblin king's necklace is to return it to Matt Derrell in Verloren (check your quest book, as it should say something about this). I seem to remember that this is how you officially complete that quest.

I haven't figured out yet whether upgrades are more beneficial than just buying new items. I think you are right about the higher the number next to the skulls and the fists, the better.

Thanks Ana, the GB calvary has just arrived. I still have the necklace so I will see if Matt wants it. Thank you so much Marian and if you get to the part finding the crescent shaped key door let me know please. I love this game so much fun for a rpg match 3 game.

Sherryah, I may have given you the wrong information about the necklace. If it is wrong, I would suggest looking in your quest book because there is lots of helpful information in there in terms of who you have spoken to/what quests you have completed/what quests you have been given.

This looks to be a huge game and having the portals is very useful in terms of reducing travel time, but it's still pretty easy to get lost (for me, anyway!). smile

As we continue to explore, hopefully we won't feel quite as lost! grin

I am playing it now, Usually what I eventually found out is that when you go through the portal, the local you need to go to is already highlighted so it will take you to the right place unless you need to go to town to get healed. Hope that helps.

I played the 1st one as well and think it's really fun.

I had been playing this game on my DSi and just realized BFG had it and bought it. If you like match 3 games, this is must buy.

Regarding fists and skulls on weapons:

The skulls determine how much damage the weapon will do, assuming it's not blocked and you don't get a critical hit.

The fist determines how much attack power it takes to use the weapon. When you match three or more fists in a round, it adds some to your total attack power (fists). When you have enough attack power accumulated, you can swing your weapon.

Hence it's best to have a weapon with lots of skulls, but few fists. Usually you'll have to make a choice: either you equip a weapon that takes a lot to swing it, but does a lot of damage, or you equip one that takes less to swing it but also does less damage.

Upgrading a weapon usually increases the damage it does, and sometimes decreases the amount of attack power it uses. Sometimes it also adds extra bonuses to the item. So upgrading seems to always be beneficial.

There's one particular item which you should absolutely upgrade: it normally adds 1 to each of your stats (strength, agility, etc,) but fully upgraded it adds 5 to all of them. It's also usually a good idea to upgrade your best weapons so that you can hit for good damage.

Thank you so much Demosthemes,I just learned so much from you. I have been playing it for weeks and never tire of it. I sure hope there will be a puzzle quest 3 and keep it RPG like this one with voices also.

Thanks, that is pretty good info. I am now playing the PC version I got from BFG and absolutely love it. I am playing as an Assassin on PC and then for quick games still playing on DSi as sorceror. Quite a still for 6.99 with BFG and best Match 3 since Unwell Mel.
