Hi Guys...

I've come back to play The Lost Crown after several months. I feel like a complete "dweeb" but I can't remember how to use the video camera, the recorder etc. I can use them to record or take a picture, but can't view or listen to them afterward. What's the trick?

Thanks a boat load! happydance

Witchen

If I remember correctly, if you use the camera; the picture(s) is a separate item in inventory. Same with the recorded tapes.

Reading this board you guys are so awesome I have to try. Yesterday I took on the challenge of trying to complete Lost Crown. I have a nasty cold and playing adventure games is about all I have the energy for. Unfortunately my game locked up right when I was supposed to have the vision for the helm on the beach after ringing the bell for Halcombe or whatever his name is.

I was wondering if anyone had a saved game around this time they could send me, either while on the beach or the start of the third day would be great too but I'll take anything just so I can finish. I think my last save is in the graveyard and I don't want to have to go through all that mess again.

Thanks in advance, a sick Tarotknits

Hi Tarotknits, welcome to GameBoomers.

I no longer have any saves for this game, and haven't been able to find any at my usual sources. Let's wait and see if anyone still has their saves, and one at the spot you need. Hang in there.

welcome Tarotknits,

My saves are unlabeled. I sent you a group of saves that might have that particular part of the game. Tell me if one of them works. I still have the last set at end of the game.

Thank you again so much Mag! You made a sick gal very happy. I'm well on my way to finishing now. Last night I got to scream for the first time. LOL scared the h*** out of my husband and he's not even playing the game.

Hi Geri,

The only password which will work with your game will be on the cover of the game manual that came with it. Lots of folk have had trouble with the game accepting their password, however. When entering the digits, do so from the main keyboard rather than the numberpad at far right. Take care with the hyphens and that they are not entered as an underscore. Hold down the Shift key when you type capital letters rather than using CapsLock. luck

The only manual that came with my game is part of the box and I cannot find a password code. Is there someplace else where I should look?

Thank you

There should be a separate game manual, and the registration code/password is at the top on the front cover of that. If you no longer have the manual I'd suggest writing to the publisher, they will likely be able to help you with the info you need. Good luck, I hope you get it sorted!
