Yes, thank you, BeaSong! I mean it when I say this is my favorite game so far this year!! Can't wait for the next episode!

I just finished episode 2 and I agree with Venus it is the best game I have played all year. In my opinion I had more fun with this game then I did with dragon wars, witcher enchanced, sacred 2. I love the sense of humor with the narrator Amy. I loved every part of this game.

Beasong you should be very proud that you were chosen to bring this joy to gamers and your giving it free,which totally amazes me.

The man who put all this together is truly amazing. He even plays the guard dog as well as hole in the wall. The team that has been put together as I watched the credits are many.

I especially love the game because of Roberta Williams. This brings back many fond memories when every adventure game I bought was Sierra or Jane Jenson Gabriel Knight series. I first developed my addiction to adventure games because of these two women. Many years later and I have never kicked that addiction it only gets worse.

The graphics are bright bold beautiful. The voices are all done excellent. The storyline is a tear jerker at times and yet makes you laugh aloud other times.

I am looking forward to episode 3 more than any game this year that is suppose to be released. It is sad about grey matter because it really isn't a grey matter to the gamers. When a release date is given and they pre order the game anticipating it like many of us did does feel like a carrot dangled in front of a rabbit.

I look forward to seeing what Jane will say about this delay. I sure would have loved to see the old Gabriel knights resurrected with new updated graphics like it was done with Kings Quest. My favorite Gabriel knight was sins of the father fighting voodoo in New Orleans. Any way playing Silver lining episode 2 made me think of the best games I played and enjoyed the most.

I've downloaded 2, never got to finish 1 yet. From what I've seen of it the graphics are amazing, such talent. I envy people's talents. It's amazing when you look at how many people there are in the world and how many of them are so gifted at so many different things.

Sorry I think I'm getting a little off topic here. But hope to finish both episodes someday, or maybe I'll just wait till they finish the whole thing.

It was announced that TSL is one of the Games Of The Month for Sept on PC Gamer. Things like that and your comments here, make it all worth it. Plus, we can't wait to play it too!

I'd like to add my congratulations in a very big way (if I knew how). I was following this game when it was first announced as KQ9 and agonized with you over all the roadblocks that you went through with corporate america.

You are definitely a Phoenix who has raised from the ashes and are to be commended. I am waiting with baited breath for the next episode. Keep up the excellent work and hurrah for you.

Cesar, and thank you very much for such an excellent game! I also have been following the project for a long time and am anxiously awaiting the next installment. It is definitely my favorite game so far this year, and all of you should be commended for doing such a great job.

I love how you are fleshing out the royal family; this is one of my favorite aspects of the game. Loved Alexander's nightmare scene. I also hope we'll be seeing more of Rosella, as she was my favorite.

And, of course, I really like how you are incorporating the Black Cloak Society. Can't wait to see what happens next and where the story is going!

Most of all, I'm happy that we're able to actually see and play the game after two cease and desists! The team has really lived up to its name! Well deserved!

My copy of the game was totally buggy. Not fun.

Tried uninstalling and get a weird message that another program is being installed and to wait...I restarted...tried again; same message.

Not happy.

Chief thanks but the game apparently has its OWN uninstall prograam you can access from the game folder. Who knew?...anyway I will try reinstalling it and see what happens this time.

Uhm.. Folks? I am REALLY happy that ep 2 is out , more so since I finally finished all KQ games 1through 8 in preparation. Forgive my ignorance but, could someone please point me to the link to Silver Lining episode 1, if it is also free? If not, does GoG have it for sale?

I loved playing Episode 1 but what a hassle. My poor PC couldn't handle all of the cool graphics. I had to turn the graphics way down, BUMMER

It was great fun, but I will unfortunately have to skip Silver Lining and play vicariously through my GB family
