Just started the game and am stuck on how to play the first game the Monogram puzzle. Read the inst. but when I click on a number it goes back to the start showing the three games you can play. Is there another place to play this game other than in inventory?

Hi Cinamatuse,

The first page you flick to in each section is an introductory page which you can't interact with. Turn over that page and you'll see the actual puzzle you need to solve. You'll then be able to click on the individual grid squares to shade them in.

These puzzles are always accessed via the puzzle book in inventory.

I don't have Vista,do you know where the saves are. If you do just copy and paste the save in your other saves.

Bento puzzle-I can't get out of the puzzle. I have to quit the game & go back in. The back arrow to exit out is nowhere. Do you have to solve the puzzle in order to get out? Is anyone else having this problem?

In at least some of the Bento puzzles, you do have to solve the puzzle or else you cannot back out.

Need a save, Jr., & step by step instructions on how to install the save into my game as I am still at a loss on how to place saves into any of my games. Using Vista.

I'm not familiar with Vista, but I'll send you the save with XP instructions and hopefully that will help.

If you have problems still, see if this assists:

POSSIBLE LOCATION OF SAVED GAMES FOLDER IN VISTA

There are several possible ways of finding the saved games:

1. Click Start, All Programs, Games, Games Explorer
Right-click on the corresponding game icon, and choose Saved Games

2. You may need to turn off Vista's "User Account Control" in order to see or make changes to it.
Then open: USERS\the user name \AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Name of the Game.

3. The SaveGames folder might be found in the game directory by clicking on the 'Compatibility Folders' tag near the top of your screen.

luck

Cinamatuse,
as I have Vista I can help you find the folder for your saves.

Click the start button on your desktop and in the start menu, go to the folder called Documents. You'll then find a subfolder called Shadow at the Water's Edge

It would help better if you can take a picture and send it to us.

The step by step on how to do that is here second post by Ana.
