This portrait puzzle is so annoying...I've been working on it forever...even used the picture in the walk through and I still can't figure it out. Could someone send me a save for this? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

Ok... since I was so kindly furnished with saves with the bento boxes, I now realize a lot had already been done before this. What I'm trying to figure out is the "star keycard." Was that part already solved? Don't have it in inventory. Am stuck as to where to go next. I may just give up on this game. I believe my Nancy Drew game days are over. Hope not, but.... Thanks.

Laurette,

Check the walkthrough. The saves should follow it.

bento help please.

in the middle box I have a sandwitch
in the lower boxes I have bear rice a blnak space and then a picture of rice

below that on the next line I have two cats in two boxes two blank spaces and then a pig egg under the right most cat box

to the right of that I have a sandwitch box then a blank space then below the blank I have and egg

under this I have cat rice to the left then under that three spaces with pig rice a blank and then another bear

under this I have a cat a blank space and then another pig.

Now from what I understand I am suppose to do the squares I know to begin with but I can't figure out if the suares with the cats are suppose to be on the left and in the middle and if the sandwitch box and the egg below it go on the right then does that make the car rice and the bear the egg or what. can anyone help and explaine what to do when I have a situation like this or can you make heads or tails out of my boxes?

Thanks Kem

Oh and if I need to try and explain it again I can do that as well.

Bitty,

Even if we can solve this one for you. The puzzle does not save. It will be a new puzzle if you open the saved game again.
Unless you have the game open and leave it as is then it will not change.

Do you still want us to see if we can help?

If you haven't closed yet - please take a picture of the puzzle and send it to me. I'll go step by step with you on how to understand the puzzle.

Here's how to take pictures - them e-mail it to me.

hopefully this will work. I am sending it now.

I just sent it mag so you should get it shortly if I did it right. I can't believe I have had a computer for this long and never really took pictures of things off games before. I always wondered how you did it. LOL!!

Okay - got it.

Give me time to check it. I have to copy-paste as I think.

I'll e-mail you - keep that puzzle open.

The second installment is there.

Are you following me so far? Ask me questions.

I will send the third installment as soon as I can cut-paste.

----------

Solve is there with explanations.
Hopefully - it is clear.

if I am looking at it right then the top and bottom two things were for the middle and top of the boxes but then I get confused by the sandwitch and the egg on the righthandside of the screen.

Ignore that until the end - see the third installment's explanation. Take it step by step.

I think you can do it yourself. Just do the easiest and most direct clues first and the rest will eliminate itself. Have fun.

Yesterday, I posted about the "Star" card. I've searched and can't find my post or a response. Thanks.

Hi Laurette, MaG answered you on page 4 of this thread. Have you checked your task list to see if the card puzzle has been solved yet?

Rushes: I'm only showing 3 pages (this being the last one). Also, am playing in Sr. mode, so don't believe I have a task list. Thanks.
