Hi Marji,

The aim of this puzzle is to arrange the tiles so that they create a solid black line from the lower left corner to the upper right. Here are the first few directions for arranging the path of the black line, which will hopefully help:

-- Move from bottom left square to adjacent upper right square.
-- Move down from that square.
-- Move right from that square, then right again. You are now at bottom right corner.
-- Move to adjacent upper left square.
-- Move left.

See how you get on with the other squares. luck

Bear with me, Marji, I'll get an image of the completed puzzle and e-mail it across to you in the next 10 minutes.

Edit: The e-mail was returned as undeliverable. Perhaps you could check the address in the public e-mail box of your profile and let us know if it's changed? smile

I'm stuck @ 'The Final Puzzle'.
Need a Save for just after you use the
cane on Ferucil.
{Can't seem to coordinate the cane & the demon.}
Is it possible to see/hear the actual ending after this?
PS~~~Blonde g'ma, please keep use of Save simple.
Thanks and God bless,

I am at the trap door but I only have 3 pegs and I'm sure there were 4 but one disappeared.I read somewhere on this forum that there is another set in the bucket in the boiler room. But I can't click on the bucket. I am so far along in the game I can't go way back to get them again from the office.Looks like I won't be able to finish the game. Any suggestions?

Marji,

I merged your new thread-post with your older thread. Please use one thread per game. Thanks.

I checked the Companion - it states and I quote:
if you don't have the pegs, go back to the theatre office and grab them.; they are on Todd Wickerman's desk.

Please check there and see. luck

I tried reading the companion to find a way back since it hints that you can go back and bypass that blocked door. There's a mention of a ladder. Does that ladder make a difference.

I have not played the game - if you still can;t find a way around to the office - let's wait for someone familiar with the game.

The ladder goes up to the trapdoor so that doesn't work. Also I went back to a save just before the blocked stairs and looked in the office and the pegs aren't there. I had gotten the 4 pegs early in the game and one disappeared so now I only have 3 and I need 4 to solve the puzzle. I'm out of luck. Hope someone who's played the game can help.

Marji,

It's weird that you only have 3 pegs instead of 4, as none of them should ever disappear. This sounds like a weird bug. I apologize for the inconvinience!

Could you e-mail me your saved game? I can fix it for you and send it back so you can complete the game.

Please e-mail your save to info at unimatrixproductions dot com. smile

Are you getting an active cursor on the trap door, or nothing at all? Double check that all the lines are lit -- there's a horizontal line across the very bottom that might be easy to miss.

The guide says (for after the trapdoor is successfully unlocked):
"Might as well go through it [...] or, you can go back up the basement stairs. It doesn't really matter, so long as you end up backstage."

Keep us posted.

Yes I did miss that bottom line. I can't believe I didn't spot it.
Thanks!
