I need to get the parcel from the customs officer and he doesn't give it to me. I've exausted all conversation so I can't go back and talk to him again. I looked at the walkthrough and I've done everything. Any ideas? Glitch??? Thanks!

Right click the parcel and see if you can get more info about it.

Hi Mag, the problem is the parcel never shows up in my inventory.

Have you tried to get it with the fishing rod?
Be sure that you are in close up of the desk when you do so.
Also the officer should not be there.

I'm at the part where I need the valve for the airship. I'm told by the Briggs woman to pick up the parcel at the customs office. She gives me money which also isn't in my inventory, but when I talk the officer I tell him I have the money. The conversation ends and no parcel.

I think it might be a glitch. I looked at the forums a BFG and others are having similar problems with inventory items not showing up. I might have to contact Big Fish I guess.

If the customs officer doesn't give the parcel, are you able to pick it up yourself, can you get close enough to it or is it behind a grille or somesuch? I can't recall this part exactly. Have you spoken to the police officer as well?

Hi Rushes. I've tried tofind the parcel in the closeup but its not there. This is the part of the game where you need the valve for the airship to get it filled with hydrogen. I've exausted the conversation and the parcel is discussed but never enters my inventory. Thanks though.

I found a thread at BFG addressing this exact issue and a poster had the solution. I tried it and it worked! So now I can finish the game. Thanks for trying to help Rushes and MaG!

How did you do it? Inquiring minds wants to know.

I had to click on my notebook and open the documents tab. The parcel was in there. I clicked on the parcel and that put it in the window on the screen as if it had been in the inventory. I clicked on the image of the parcel and the valve appeared in my inventory.

Gotta say, though, this is a pretty buggy game. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the map coordinates which I should already have. I started a saved game way back where I met Sarah and while I didn't get the coordinates this time either, but the parcel did do what it was supposed to do. (Go figure!) Alot of times I click through the conversations and wonder if that makes a mess of things. Maybe when I skip parts of the conversation I also skip the trigger for inventory items to do what they're supposed to do. Maybe??

Well I went back to try more conversation with Sarah and the count and the count had more to say! Then he went with me to the air ship and the map worked! Yay! That didn't happen the first time through. Buggy, buggy! I'm starting to same way more often!
