Have you found the maintenance task sheet which has an illustration of a series of switches which connect to the elevator?

Yes I solved the number puzzle and have task sheet. I've got the elevator working now thank you.. I was looking for the wrong kind of cp's thinking it would be like the one next to the swimming pool doors :/ .. Thanks for your quick response

Hi jill2008, to GameBoomers. Have you examined the thrownaway leaflet in the bin just beside the main door of the building? Make a note of the circled number you see there. That might help. Shout if you need a bigger nudge.

If you find the circled number - there are stone stands around there that has a Roman Numeral and button.
Find the appropriate numbered stand and press the button.

how do you enter the building? I have used the codenumbers on the green pillars and have heard a sound. but can't find an opening to enter the building.

Look around for a pillar similar to the others but blank, with no numerals on it. Press the button.

I have a problem with the latest pillar (the one with no numerals). I simply cannot find the right sequence for setting the sliders. Is there some kind of hint to be found for this sequence?

Not a hint as such, but the only way I could solve this puzzle was to click each slider in turn and see how it affected all the others -- if they moved to the left or right or stayed static, and make a written note of those effects. Then, by trial and error, work out the sequence to set them in alignment. Not all the sliders need to be touched, by the way. This puzzle is a tad fiendish.

Did you make a note for the the sequence of these sliders Margaret? I'm still stuck finding the right sequence.

I'm busy with those sliders as Rushes told me what to do with them. it's indeed trial and error. this is a really tough one.
