After getting third crystal and putting it in and going to stand and clicking on wedge for 3 crystals, I not only can't get into the locked room next to the bedroom,(which should open with just 1 crystal activated) but when it shows the cutscene, it only shows 2 activated, not 3. I have done once from start alone, then two more times using walkthrough. Still no luck. Anyone help me?

If you want to enter the locked room next to the bedroom, note the white symbol on top of the door.

Based on the crystal code stand - the whote symbol needs only one crystal to activate that door.

So from walkthrough:

Click one crystal to light it up and then click on top left white button also to light it up on the wall above the panel.

I've done that Mag....3 times with no luck. I guess I will try one more time from the start with your walkthrough. Like I said not only can I not open that door, but even though I have placed 3 crystals and clicked three on and clicked the appropriate colored light, I still can't get three showing on the cutscene. One more time from the beginning.

Mag. I did get the rope and water lamp from room with locked door. It was later when I tried to open it that I got the "It's locked" from Umang. Am I correct in assuming that once you go beyond having just on crystal activated ,that the room becomes unaccessible again? If so then my only problem is after activating the third crystal and moving the handle on the stand to the wedge for 3 crystals in the Telescope Room, the cutscene stil only shows two activated, not three.

You can go back and open any of the doors again.
You have to:
1. Place and light up the correct number of crystals on the panel.
2. You have to press the correlated colored icon on the panel above the crystals.

The cutscenes show only the stands that you activate. The crystals does not affect this - the crystals are for opening the doors.

So when in the Telescope Room, and I click the stand to the wedge, third stand is activated even though only two show activation on the cutscene? If that is so I have replayed it twice more for no reason. Good practice though

Just curious too. Since I am a newbee, how do I get the faces and icons to go onto my message? I try different ways, but obviously they aren't correct as I haven't gotten one to atach to message yet

I thought I answered this earlier. Must not have hit reply button.

To get a GB avatar:
1. Go to My Place at top of screen.
2. Select "edit profile" on drop down menu.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the frame to "Select the radio button next to the option you are using to change your image."
4. Click on "use stock avatar".
5. Then click on the gold text - "change".
6. Select the avatar you want and follow the instructions on the avatar selection frame.
7. Click on submit button on your "edit profile" page.

Got it done Mag. But I still can't get the icons above the no icon to attach. Only the ones when I click the happy face and select from there.

Geez - really - I am out of it.
I thought you want an avatar - it's the smileys you want.

The posting icons (above the no icon) are for the title of your thread. You will see it left side of Aura 2. Third Crystal on the bar above the frame you are writing on or left side of the Hints forum page.
