Reenie, I haven't played this, but I found 2 walkthroughs. Neither one mentioned seeds though. I wonder if they are called something else in the game. The WT links are Here and Here.

These are not seeds. They are electric discharges meant to inflict bodily harm.

I figured it out by accident: You walk into the seed as it is falling and you "collect" it, but if it hits the ground and explodes, it might just take you out. Still, they are worth collecting.
I could not find a good WT, either. I am at the end of the game, have collected the four goal items, and need to face and defeat the final boss. I can't get into the main fortress in the city, which is where I remember fighting the last time. I may not be able to finish the game, if no one has any recollection of the ending. :-(

Reenie, I'm glad you solved it. Those things tend to niggle at you. Is it This Game?

Yes, L4L, that's the game. A wonderful oldie, and I am loving playing it again. Unfortunately, as I said, I am stuck now. Both the WTs you found mention going back to Ramzar to end the game, which is where I am now. (Ramzar is the small, icy world where the game starts and you do your training.)
When you first leave Ramzar at the start of the game, you use a transport portal that takes you to the riss world with all the Temples. That same portal does not take you BACK to Ramzar, however, only to the desert city. I have been to all the worlds looking, but can't find Ramzar again.
No one remembers this old game and there aren't 'Boomers quality WTs out there. So, I am not going to get an answer and probably won't be able to finish the game. Too bad.

Well, L4L, that is exactly what happened. I finally decided to ignore the WT that said return to Ranzaar, and went looking around for something else to happen. Ended up at the forest world again, walked into a cut scene, and the game progressed from there. I got captured and lost all the stuff I had gathered, but got some minimal supplies back, and was able to defeat the bad guys in the end.
If anyone else replays this game, maybe they'll run into the same bad WT advice and will see my post. Nice to think it might help them.
Thanks for your input! Maureen
