I feel the same way that you do, thracia. It's...different. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say, too. It didn't grab me, but then again I haven't spent all that much time with the demo.

I beta-tested this game at the beginning of March and really enjoyed it. I'm still going to download the demo before buying just to make sure the developers didn't make any drastic changes before the final release.

So far, I like that the journal entries actually add to the story instead of simply repeating information. Finding and using the inventory items isn't very challenging. And I haven't quite got the goggle/puzzle thing in the hidden object scenes figured out yet. All in all, not yet convinced I want to buy this one. But will wait to finish the demo and see what others have to say. It seems to have potential.

Found a minor bug. In the book one of the pages is wrong, it just repeats the previous page.

This was a buy for me also. Playing in Expert Mode as It's a little more challenging. Game is a little different than the usual and I like it.

If you switch to the goggles, you must place the parts of the scene in their correct spot. While doing so, you can still search for hidden objects. I thought it was a nice variation.

I've been waiting for this game ever since I beta-tested it, and the fact that I can now pick it up for $4.99 is a bonus.

I played in expert mode and have just finished the game-- with a lot of help from the HINT's and a few times looking at the walkthrough.A very enoyable game and long.

If you use the goggle puzzle mode, after you place all the puzzle pieces on the scene, all your hidden objects will be highlighted with sparkles, except for the final object which needs another object to interact with it.

If you select the goggle puzzle, only those objects within the placed pieces can be selected. So you need to place all the pieces, or deselect goggle puzzle then you can finish finding them yourself.

For 4.99 I think it's a game worth getting.

I also Beta tested this game, and have been looking forward to it. For $4.99 it was a steal.

Finished, now playing the latest Puppet Show. Hope this was just first in a Our Worst Fears series.

gee; I bought 2 Friday for 4.99 & now had to buy this one after playing the demo. O.K. Thats it. I have to back off now.

I bought this one too, and I like it except for the fact that you can't exit and get back to the same place again. You have to start over in that section

Enjoyed this game-and to get for less than club member price was a nice gift to self!

I'm demoing this game now, in Expert Mode.... had to use a hint for an eyeball on the painting, which I HATE doing....

Anyway, I did check out the walkthrough because I can't seem to find any area that changes the arrow into a hand to pick up something I could use, or create the ? so I have another clue to find. I'm still in Chapter 1, and can't find the paper with the code on it....

When I'd gone to the w/t, it told the code to open the safe!! How was that figured out? Trial and error? Or is there something in the game that give the hint?

Just wondering, because I feel like I'm cheating It's one thing if I just can't find an object, but this seems so random.
