I'm stuck (a known sticky point as I read the w/t) at Miss Valley's apt. having to underline the 3 key words in her folder. Sector 13 is not acknowledged, but I don't have the skip lever at the bottom right. Any thoughts, what am I missing? Thanks!

Open the main menu and then options.
Then open Game options. Select additional help.

Select additional help was already enabled in game options. I unselected, then reselected, restarted game and still no skip lever. Any other thoughts, or would a saved game be in order at this point. If so , please instruct on how to download.

The skip lever will show up after several tries. Work on it first and then wait for it to show up.

Hi michele rose, I had a glitch here too! I found that the skip lever only appeared after staying on the puzzle screen & underlining three words/phrases & failing a few times! Hope that helps!

Hey, MaG and Chrissie,

I've tried and tried again(12x) making mistakes along the way. The book closes automatically after Adrian makes a comment on one or two of the underlines....but no skip lever. Should I keep trying? Any magical sequence?

That's surprising since another gamer turned the additional hints and got the lever at bottom right.

My external hard drive crashed and have been trying to recover my files. this PM. All my games and saves are there. So, I can't help on any replays or saves right now.

Maybe someone else can help.

Now that's bummer! Hope you can work thru it.
Just to let you know - I've never had to make so many mistakes in a game - it paid off. Then poof...the skip lever!
