I am at the post office and have gone through this twice but nothing triggers looking at the Willow Creek travel guide and reading about it. I have followed the walkthrough and I don't know what I missed. Help or a save at this point, please.

Hi charward,

Did you right-click on mom's bank book and learn about the payments from Willow Creek?

Are you at least getting an active red cursor on the shelving to the right of the door (once you're inside)? Are you both left and right-clicking on that area?

Yes, i did learn about the Willow Creek payments. Darren looks over at the travel guide area and says travel guides from various places. But when he goes over to them he just says he doesn't have time to stand and look through them. I'll try again, but don't think it will work.

Hmm, did you also examine the painting of the lighthouse on the wall at mom's house?

Yes, I think I've clicked on everything. I have moved on. I have had the confrontation with Fuller, have developed the pictures, talked to Mrs. Biba. I am now at the hotel. I am afraid that somewhere further along I won't be able to continue because I could not read the travel guides

You might not be clicking on the correct guide.
There are other hot spots there right of the door.

Also it will not stop you from continuing the game if you don't see the guide.

I am about to give up on this game. I have been to the junk shop, have taken more pictures of Angelina and developed them but I can't seem to meet her at the diner. I have gone over everything at least twice and nothing triggers evening or the date with Angelina. Help, please

I don't know what you might have missed doing. Have you right-clicked on everything in inventory to get all the info you can, and have you spoken to everyone you can find to see if they have anything new to say? Did you return the letter with the money to Fuller?

Also did you check all the shelves where the guides are in the post office, as MaG suggested? Just in case you missed the shelf where the guide you need is.

I have done all of those things. I clicked on all the guides and get the same comment from Darren each time. At Darren's house it looks like night time but at the diner it seems to still be day. I have got to all the locations, talked to everyone who will talk to me and nothing seems to work.

As for the guide - you can do this even in Chapter 2 - it is just story flavoring.

This is a non-linear game; so things can be in different order than the wt.
Double check all that is in the box you opened with a slider puzzle.

I went back and did some things over. Don't know what was different but things started to work. Slow game with so much back and forth. I am glad it's non-linear. Going back to a save was not an option I wanted to use. Hope it goes better now.

I need help again. I am at the stone slab under the globe in the entrance hall. I have clicked on what I thought would be the second, fourth and fifth pyramids. Nothing happens. I don't understand the walkthrough saying "raise the pyramid Darren pushes down". I tried raising just the fifth and then tried raising them all. Nothing happens. I am pushing the little pyramids on the right side.

Did you read William's diary page which shows the illustration of the pyramids? --

Darren pushed down a pyramid when he was playing around with them at first, figuring out what they did. You need to raise that one back up and then click on the pyramids as they appear crossed out in William's drawing.

You need to have examined that diary page. luck

Yes, I have read the diary page. I have reset the puzzle several times, pushed down what I think are two, four, five. Nothing seems to work for me.

Did you try clicking on the stone slab anyway after that, to see if anything happens?

Are you able to right-click on the pyramids/stone slab so Darren comments about them?

Yes, he says the same thing each time. And yes I have right-clicked on them so he comments. I really would like a save. I so want to finish this game.

That looks exactly what I have done. When he goes back to the metal slab he says he needs to find a way to open it. I am not able to trigger whatever causes success here.

I know this is redundant but check if there are any other of those pyramids that are pressed down.
Also - click the front of that square thing at the center at several places. luck

Only 2,4,5 are down. And I have pressed on the square slab all over several times. I have comments about doing what the diary shows and that he must press those down. I have no clue as to what else. Without a save I don't think I can finish.

My saves (36 of them)are not labeled and they are quite huge 500kbs each.

It might work if you go back to a saved game and replay from there. Care taken with left and right click and checking off the walkthrough.
