I just installed this game. At the risk of seeming completely idiotic, I can not find a new game icon anywhere. I'm sure it's there but I have clicked on everything on the cell phone without success. The walkthrough gives load and save game but where is the new game.

I cannot imagine playing this great game on a cell. I have a smart phone with a largish screen, and I never thought of playing this game on that cell! I know it's probably just me, but please could you post your impressions if you will, it would be fantastic to know. Thank you.

Hi Bubba, I think charward was referring to the cell phone within the game itself.

I have gotten to the staff room door and I think I have the numbers. But I can't seem to put them in correctly. I have two 2s together and that seems to be the problem. But maybe not. Please help.
At least moving in this game is better than the first two.

Double check that you have the correct numbers - the 3 digit station code from top left of the clipboards and the 5 digit stationmaster code from his work assignment.
Enter this code on the dial lock.
Enter one number at a time under the arrow - then press the enter button after each number. Be careful of that enter button - the reset is just under it.

My 3 digit code is 352. I have tried entering 352 and 253 plus the 21974 stationmaster code. I cannot get the lock to open. I have checked the numbers they never change If you have a save I would like to have it. I have been at this for several hours.

Also where are the saves on the computer?I lmay need help installing a save.

Ah! That's so much better to hear! I think I better replay it, I sorta liked that feature now that you mention it. Plus, I think I Had a tiny problem at the same place with the game...

Again, I am so lost. I left the depot, cross the rail near the signal light (where the numbers were). I think I even climb up but I don't see a break in the fence and I can't find the steering wheel. I need some directions I think.

Did you complete the light puzzle correctly and see the cut scene?

It's tricky to find, though. Here's what another member asked on an older thread:

I did the cabinet puzzle in the office, and saw the cut scene of the opening in the fence, and when I went outside I saw the opening in the fence, but cannot access it. When I click on theupper part of the fence,(thre is no active spot on the opening) I immediately go left to the staircase which leads up to the platform. What's the trick here?

And here's how MaG replied:

Be sure that you are at the correct fence.
Go to the extreme left of that platform.
If you saw the stairs when you did - you are at the middle of that platform.
So go back to the other side.
Then go left and then go forward to the other side. See that fence.

I am on Platform 1. I did see the fence in the cut scene, but I can't find it now. I have tried the last directions but I don't get anywhere new. I just go around in circles. The only time I go up is when I'm at the dark stairs that leads up. No fence to go through anywhere that I am getting to. I even tried to redo the cabinet puzzle but could not. I have no more ideas as to what to do.

If you're on the platform with the stairs leading up, then you're on the wrong stretch of platform. You need to cross back over to the other platform. Then, facing the track, turn to your left and go as far as you can. You may need to step out onto the track to be able to move further in that direction. Then you should be able to cross over onto the other side where the fence is.

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks, I made it. I think it was the suggestion to step out onto the track to be able to move further that helped. Then I was able to continue.

I have now broken my eighth pair of scissors. Only once did I manage to move it some but not enough to get the blue eye. It then broke. Could I get a save after getting the eye. I am so tired of the trips back and forth. I have the game set to easy for this.

The way I did this is to save the game before starting the puzzle.
I still have the scissors then.
Then I do the puzzle.
If the scissor breaks - I load the saved game with intact scissor.

Now to do this puzzle - insert the scissor - do prying movement since you're trying to pop the eye out <g> out of that hole. Up-down.

Try that and keep us posted. I have to hunt for a saved game. I am not sure if I have it on this new computer.

I should have thought of saving at that point. So I did. But I still can't seem to get the eye out. I tried your saves but they are not that far along in the game. Also have trouble renaming them after I unzip them. Finally just put them in place of my numbers. They were similar.

Sent the next set of saves to you. The folder is quite large - hopefully it will go through.

thanks very much. But I think I have messed up. I did the questions with Gloria, but maybe not all were right. She gave me the lock pick but not the artifact. I am now much further away. I don't really want to go all the back and replay. Is there a way to redo that scene? I am now trying to help Andrew with the telescope.

The artifact ring will be there -- they automatically combine with each other each time one is added to inventory. If you right click on the main one that you see in inventory, you will see the whole lot together.

Great. I do have them. Now I am at the safe trying to enter the code. But the safe doesn't open and sometimes the game locks up when I have tried unsuccessfully. I have the code and I thought you clicked one on the left, two on top, three in the middle, four at the bottom and 5 on the right. What am I doing wrong. I have even tried clicking from top down,.

You don't need to click on them multiple times. Click one time only on wherever position 1 should be, then one time on position 2, then position 3, etc, and that should do it.

I meant one time on each of the locations. I have done that several times but nothing happens. There is an X on the location between 3 and 4. I have been going over it but not stopping. The safe doesn't open.

I figured it out finally. But now I am supposed to go back to Room 2E. It's locked and I no longer have the key. It's not down at the reception desk and since I got in there once, I don't know what to do now.

If you have been in that room already - you should just be able to click on the door and it will open.

Also double check your inventory.
