I was wondering if there was a new Carol Reed mystery in the works. I really loved Blue Madonna. The photographs were great (without the watercolor technique) and the music was outstanding. Thanks.

There has not been an official announcement yet, but I would be surprised to hear that there isn't another in the works.

I just finished Blue Madonna, & Carol's narration at the end got me a little worried. She talked about the weather being so hot & she really needed a rest. I probably read too much into it.. thinking she was referring to either a long leave-of-absence, or retirement. I hope Nyquist & Co. are nowhere near ending this series. I'm going along with your optimistic sentiment Becky: That another adventure for Carol Reed is more likely than not.

I'd like to see it go on and on... & am still hoping for a wintry, Christmastime (w/decor inside & out), nighttime adventure through Norrkoping (I realize it's too, too icy cold for game photography, but it'd sure be neat to see).

It's always fun finding references to Gameboomers & other names during gameplay. I remember seeing a Ciccone item (Madonna's maiden name).. a lock, maybe?; license plates with JJensen, ELNNYQ; & Len Green popped up on something, but I can't recall upon what. There were others... I should have made a list!

There is usually one game a year, and Blue Madonna came out this year. I expect we have a few months to wait.

Blue Madonna was the last Carol Reed game

with a nylon factory in it. The next one, however, will have plenty of windmills, and an old deserted prison for the criminally insane.

I hope to have the game released before the end of the year.

Yes, thank you, Mikael. I look forward to it greatly. Blue Madonna was an awesome game. One of the best things about Gameboomers is that the actual game developers sometimes sneak on and tell you the inside secrets.
