Could anyone please tell me what these games are like. I have the chance to purchase all four brand new ones. Are they 3rd person? Are they hard. I usually play games like Syberia, Keepsake, Rhodan, etc and I am hoping that these games will be like them. cheers, Alfoil.

Are you talking about the Baldur's Gate series? If so, they are not adventure games, but rpgs. The combat is semi-turnbased, not real-time. There's a great story in both of them - or 4 - if you count the expansions as well.

Yes it did help. I am not entirely sure what rpgs means (have a rough idea) but I am pretty sure its not really what I am looking for. I have been trawlling through the game sites looking for some new games in the genre of Keepsake, Syberia etc but haven't been able to find anything that I haven't played. Any suggestions would be really appreciated, cheers, Alfoil.

alfoil,

If you want adventure games recommendations -
- please post at adventure discussion forum. The members are happy to help.
- Check the GB Annual List at top of the page. The members voted the adventure (and RPG-Action games) they like. It is tallied by flotsam and Chief.
