It is released tomorrow, 23 th, lots of information are found HERE . Maybe too stealthy for me, I never played Deus Ex before but it has 3 difficulty levels.

Hey, I loved, loved, loved DE 1! What I loved about is was that you could choose to play as a shooter, a stealth user, or a combination, and DE Human Revolution apparently has the same choice ability. It looks AWESOME. Picked it up yesterday, as well as the strategy guide, in Wal Mart. Can't wait to read what folks have to say about it here. Andy

I am very bad at stealth but up to now I can get around shooting lethal weapons Certainly a very good game.

There is the need to use guns in some parts no matter how stealthy one is. The end of the 2 nd part is like this, and I guess that a lot of this second part would be very difficult using just stealth, of course one can use non lethal weapons until the end of this part with the "boss fight" where lethal weapons are apparently indispensable.

I know what you mean, Linda! It's kinda lonely when I play WoW, and not having the fun I used to have it seems. Andrea PS: Grats on the new machine!

Has anyone done the Sidequest: Rotten Business? I need help, I have almost at the end of the mission and probably I am missing something silly - I cannot reach Chan's place. Tried from the roof, the sewers ... Edit: dismiss it - it is from the roof but my character was falling down every-time, after knowing it was like this I tried again and again and finally did it.

I have to say I am really impressed with this game so far. I have just entered Shipping and Receiving of the Sarif plant and am playing mostly in the stealth mode, and it is loads of fun! Am still learning how to use all the menus and the game interface, but you can get a tutorial any time you want, and that is really helpful. I wimped out and bought the strategy guide, and I'm very glad I did, as I haven't played an action game in some time and need to relearn how to do a lot of things (like a crouch-jump). The acting is very, very good so far, one thing that is important to me in my enjoyment of a game, and the graphics and sound effects are what you would expect, similarly impressive. So far in the early stages of the game, I am a happy camper! Would love to hear what other GBoomers think of it and how they are playing it. Andy

I finished the game, all in all great game Before buying it my concern was that I am not very good at stealth, well nothing to worry, I played all of it Rambo style , I only needed small amounts of hiding like one can use in any FPS. I played Easy though. If somebody wants to play stealthy still needs some shooting abilities even if they want to use non lethal weapons most of the time. If you play it don't miss the extra "ending" after the credits.

I may replay it to save some people I didn't but not with stealth, I had much fun with my lethal guns ...
To be stealthy means to be patient waiting for people to move away, there were a couple of circumstances that needed a bit of stealth particularly at the beginning and other that were better solved with stealth but all in all guns, for me, were more useful.

mcc, I am playing it in primarly stealth mode but have to say that sniping someone with my tranq rifle once in a while is really fun. I just picked up a shotgun and some ammo in the police station and look forward to trying that out, as well as the grenade mine. The one criticism I would have so far is that I have a hard time occasionally figuring out where I am with the map system, but I eventually get it figured out. Next time I play I will go Rambo too! Thanks for the heads up about the credits. Andy

I am replaying it mainly to save some hostages I missed in the first play, easy task, and to save Malik that I did today , this is a challenging fight, long distance weapons, lethal in my case, are very helpful here since it has to be a fast kill or stun.

Did you save Malik? I had not realized I could and later I was upset in the Harvesters hideout . As powerful: the Typhoon augmentation. The second time I got a stun gun, super useful in many cases. The shotgun is almost indispensable near the end.

Yep - Malik is good to go. Sounds like she is going to come in handy later, eh? Ah, Typhoon augmentation - I would love to get this only to see the effect when I set it off. I've been spending praxis points mostly on stealth-related augs up until this point, but it's early in the game, so I expect I can get this later on. Right now I am on the roof of some building in Hengsha City trying to find the Hung Hua Hotel and am completely lost. So, whether I like it or not, I am going to do a bit of exploring (lol). Andy
