Ok, sooo - how many here did actually attend blizzcon either in person or by virtual ticket?

I did virtual ticket and it was awesome

We're "soon" (speculations about summetime 2012) getting a new expansion - Pandaria- a new continent with a new playable race "Pandas" - located south of Azeroth, kina like Northend.

Also a new class "Monks" (without autoattack).

A brand new "Talent System"

And - wait for it, lol - "Companion Pet Battles!"

What's your thoughts about it?

We attended via the Virtual Ticket though I think it would be so much fun to go in person. But it normally sells out in 2 seconds.

I think Pandaria sounds like a ton of fun, but I'm most excited that hunters minimum range is going away.

For sure I will have a Pandarian Monk.

If you missed any of it, or would like to re-watch any part, you have until Nov 6 to stream the archives.

And in an unrelated tidbit, if you subscribe to WoW instead of just going on a month to month basis, you get Diablo 3 for free, a new kicking mount, and guaranteed access to the Pandaria beta.

Woot I happy to hear about a new expansion coming out, need something new to play. Right now I'm waiting for Skyrim to come out. I'll wait to hear from people who are playing have to say about it before buying.
Maybe then it will come down in price.

The Hunter minimum range gone is awesome!
Although, I'm gonna miss see my toon swing the blade/polearm etc.

As for the Minimum 12 months binding with WOW - who would NOT take advantage of such a great deal?

Misslilo, I felt the same way...signed up the first time I saw it. Son assures me I won't like Diablo (too dark and demony he says for me though he loves it) but for free...what can I loose.

I have sooooo many pets (and am still pursuing them) and haven't decided. Of course, first we have to have some more info. For instance, I have Grunty who already randomly shoots off his automatic weapon, but since he was a Blizzcon pet, I'm thinking he won't be allowed on teams. I wonder what the wolpertinger will bring? I think it will be fun building the teams and watching them play out.

Yeah - and finding new pets around, should be fun too

I'm with you all. Can't wait for the expansion. However, I think it will be awhile before we get it. Though yes, MissLilo, one can hope! I love the changes.
L4L I'd love to be there in person too, though there are so many kinda strange young people in attendance. I loved the costumes. I'd love to meet Greg Street (Ghostcrawler) and the other devs but am very shy and tongue tied.
MissLilo, I have looked and looked for you online since Blizzcon to discuss it with you but never see you. Wish we had the Real ID set up.

Is anyone here going to buy the tradeable One-Time-Use new Pet from the Pet Store - The Guardian Cub?

I think I'm gonna wait and see, if the price at the Auction House drops instead of dishing out $10 for one myself, lol.

I haven't decided yet, Misslilo. I'm used to the pets you buy being BoA so all your toons get it. This one only goes to one character. I didn't like the mount, too big and ugly. The little one is kinda cute, and is something my Horde toon could use. We'll see.

EDIT: I got Terrorpene last night!

Misslilo, he is quite cute, but I too like the pets going to all my characters. At $10.00 each, I'll probably buy one for my 2 mains and everyone else will have to do without.
