Long time no chat so hello everyone!

I am in an exhibit room and discovered a secret door beneath one of the sarcophogi. The lock is broken but there is nothing to take out or see. Is this correct or am I missing something?

TIA

This is from the walkthrough from Ugur -here. Is this where you are now?

Quote:
Walk up to the sarcophagus lying inside a glass cabined. On the ground, to the left of the glass cabinet, you can move the carpet. Once the carpet is out of the way, you will be able to see a trap door. Open the trap door. Use the lever from the tile puzzle on the machine inside. When the lever is in place, pull it to reveal a hidden entrance in one of the other rooms. Before leaving however, combine the lamp and the oil flask in your inventory. Light your lamp by using it on the gas lamp hanging over the glass cabinet with the sarcophagus.

No but thanks for the help on this part.

There are several sarcophagi against a wall. When you click on one it slides and reveals a rusty lock. After SH says it can be broken, I broke it with the screwdriver but nothing is revealed.

Ah - you're still close to start of game.

Click on the second statue from the left. The statue will move to the right and reveal a locked box. Use your screwdriver on the padlock to break it. Open the box and take the key inside.

Check the picture HERE.

So you can not see the key????
Check your inventory or see if you can find an active spot when you move your cursor. Keep us posted.

I'm in the laboratory and have a total of 3 keys. One fits the desk and the other 2 do not fit anything. Could someone give me a hint please.

TIA

You use 2 keys on the drawer and one key for the door at left. Have fun.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if the game has a time sequence. I keep getting Sherlock failed and falls on the floor. Does anyone have an answer?

TIA

I am in the restoration room. The previous scene was the laboratory. In the library scene while at the desk I pressed the "turn" button to turn the keys and SH got blown up and I had to restart. Once I got into the restoration room, I was search and then the scene cut to SH falling as if he were shot and I got a message "SH has failed". That is why I asked if this is a time sequence. Usually these games are not.

I moved you from Glitches to your old thread.

It looks like you are running out of torch light. That happens at the lab and the other room.

Best make torches and then light it.

From the walkthrough:

You will find yourself in a laboratory. Your torch will stay lit for a limited amount of time. However, if it dies out, you can combine the second stick and rag in your inventory with gin and matches to make another torch.

My first torch died. I made the 2nd after getting a pop-up message saying I have 2 mins. I left my 2nd torch in inventory. Should it be placed anywhere?

Hi Puzzler, keeping the spare torch in your inventory until you need it is fine. luck

Thanks Rushes!

I'm still having problems. The game freezes. I uninstalled/reinstalled but still freezing. Not sure why.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

It's an old(ish) game, it might be compatibility issues. Have you tried running it in compatibility mode? If you're playing it on Win7 then you might well have trouble.

thanksgiving
