Did I see something about someone being able to load Shivers 1 on Win 7? If so, please tell me how to do it.

Shivers 1 will not play on 64-bit Windows 7 and there is no installer for it. I was able to play Shivers 2 on 64-bit Windows 7 by using the installer from Squirtthecat.
The Windows 7 and Games thread might have more details.

Yup! That's the only way to do in in 64-bit Windows 7. It played just fine in my 32 bit Windows 7 when I was using the Release Candidate. I always wonder why they don't develop an installer for Shivers 1 like they did for Shivers 2. I'm sure there's a good reason...

Hi Are the installers on the link "New Installers for Sierra Games" given by InlandAZ now the best for getting my old games to run in WinXP ?? [I was wondering how "new" they are.] Cheers. Mad

I think they are as new as they get! Which means some have been around for awhile. But then remember that XP has been around for over 10 years too.
