Hi Irishem,
Yes, there's a bypass. Start up a game of Raven, and then just leave it onscreen without touching either your keyboard or mouse. After about an hour or so, the puzzle will automatically solve itself, and the content from the chest (a bottle of antidote) will appear in your inventory.

Ireshem,
Did you push the button on the desk in the outer office? It's in a little vase.

Is the game telling you that you're being affected by the snake bite? Another member had a similar problem in THIS older thread. If you do need anti-venom in order to be able to get into the safe, then you have to get past the Raven game somehow. I no longer have my saves for this game, unfortunately. If you need to beat the Raven game, a good tip is to keep on starting a new Easy game until you find one where there are many more ravens than serpents. That'll give you the advantage to win the game and accumulate points.

You're clicking the paper on the safe and you see it wiggle, right? If that doesn't work, you may have missed a step - have you already been down to the cell where Vargo is? - or you might not have everything you need in inventory. Have you taken a look at the walkthrough? Gil.

Unfortunately, no, I don't have a save. Let me ask...you completed Raven Hunt or let it auto-solve and there was no pink bottle in your inventory?

Try the auto-solve again, Irishem. Leave the game for 45 minutes and do not touch the mouse at all. If you move the cursor even a bit, you'll cancel the auto-solve.
When you play the game, are you always selecting Easy on each game that comes up? If you don't think the one that comes up is Easy, are you saying, no, not that one, give me another Easy game? I managed to get through Raven Hunt doing it that way.
Gil.

Glad the bypass finally worked for you, Irishem. Enjoy the rest of the game.
Thanks, Gil.
