I'm completely stuck and resorted to a walkthrough. I'm in CH. 4 (part 6,according to the WT), and I"m back at the castle after talking about my dream to Mrs Smith in the bar...after (completely) visiting the Ludwig museum. Gerde is supposed to inform me of a telephone call,and doesn't. I'm supposed to use Barclay's card on the telephone in the library,but the Grace says "Barclay will call me when he has something" (or something to that effect).
So: why hasnt gerde informed me of a call,and why doesnt barclay's card work on my phone. I checked the WT,and I've done everything up to this point (and then some).Thanks.

Honestly, I can't remember the nuances of this game now.

What does the map tell you when you click on hints? Which areas blink?
It is very important that you see some objects in the castle and museum. Easiest way would simply be to see it all. some of them trigger the scenes to come, or add new subject lines.

THanks.....went back to the museum and realized there were more areas I couldnt "see" the first time around! Now I'm able to progress

ANd now...stuck again! According to a walkthrough,I'm supposed to "touch a crucifix". The WT must have left something out...it doesn't say WHERE I'm supposed to do this.ANd again...no progress.

Is it a crucifix or a cross? If you're at the cross in the water (as Grace) you have to use something on the water. You might have to click on the water first.

Got it...I tried everything. Apparently I hadnt yet called one person on the library phone. All of a sudden,after I did this,another location showed up.
