Hey Everyone, While I knew it was going to be against great odds to try and raise a decent budget to do the next Delaware game, I can admit I didn't anticipate a lot of the desires of the community. As a result, I've restructured the rewards for pledges to be more inviting for people who have not yet played any of the previous games and those who prefer a physical copy of a game. With a $50 pledge you will receive a digital copy of all three original games remastered (sharper graphics and video) as well as a special boxed disc version of "Asylum of The Lost". Also included is a digital copy of "Asylum of The Lost" and a digital copy of the soundtrack as well! I appreciate the support we've received so far but we definitely need more if we're going to make this happen! Please visit here and consider a donation: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1065983707/delaware-st-john-4-asylum-of-the-lost

Bryan, are you able to change the time you have to raise the money? for maybe an extra month? I sure hope you can raise the amount needed and I will probably up my pledge this week, just waiting to see what extra cash I have. Best of luck and I hope others will get on the bandwagon and donate what they can, every dollar helps.

@Gamer, I'm afraid not. Once we start it, the clock counts down. @BrownEyedTigre, I think I've done things very wrong on GameBoomers. In the past I've always been encouraged to make announcements, answer questions in the forums and generally be directly interactive with the gameboomers community. But apparently that's changed. Between being reprimanded for posting about my kickstarter campaign without "permission" and now being told my thread doesn't get "stickied" because you didn't make the announcement for me, I just don't know. I wish someone would have just told me the new rules and I would have been happy to abide by them. At this point it doesn't seem we'll make our funding but I knew going into this there was a big risk that there just wasn't going to be an audience for a fourth Delaware game. Pair that with the much more established people now raising money and, well, success just got a lot less likely. To everyone who's donated, I am most sincerely appreciative. Even not achieving a goal, you're amazing supporters and I'm very grateful Again, I'm sorry I seemed to anger so many people on GameBoomers. Obviously that was never my intention. I thought I was doing things right. -Bryan

Bryan,
I feel for you and if I can dig up a little money, I'll donate even if you aren't going to make your goal. At least it may help a bit to keep you going. Like oldbroad, I wish you were stickied and not just here but in other forums.

Bryan,
Please direct any questions about how GameBoomers is run off the forum.
I as administrator is aware of what has transpired. I did not take what has transpired as "reprimand" - it was informing you of the policies of GB which has NOT changed since the old times.
To clarify:
- All formal and stickied announcements are posted by Staff members. If there is exception, it is discussed by the Staff first.
- Kickstarter is walking the line because GB has a policy of NO solicitations - monetary or otherwise. We do not want to place our membership to be "courted" or "pressured" to give things. We want our members NOT to be under pressure - we just want them to be here and enjoy the site. First and foremost - we look after our membership and that has not changed either.
- Posts in GB Discussion forum are news - announcements. Kickstarter was allowed as news BUT if it crosses the line to solicitations - then it is against our policy.

unfortunately the way kickstart works it's all or nothing. So if we even come up $1 short we don't get funded. Huh? Are you saying kickstarter keeps all the money in that case?

Non of the funds will be charged to your account unless the target is met. All or nothing funding. On Kickstarter, a project must reach its funding goal before time runs out or no money changes hands. Why? It protects everyone involved. Creators aren’t expected to develop their project without necessary funds, and it allows anyone to test concepts without risk.

I'm disappointed that people who contributed to other kickstarter game campaigns didn't contribute to this one.
