The game has only eight spots to save and when I try to over write a save it appears to take it but the old save game is still there. Now I can't shut down the game cause I will lose all the progress I have made. What can I do, if anything?

What I did is make a new folder in the saved game folder - label it with a description or chapter.

Then I copied my 8 saved game files in that folder.
- I overwrite the saved game files that are already there
- or take all out except one; then make new saved games.

This way - I still have a copy of the files that I made and can place them back when needed.

One thing I did notice; even when I take care to save in chronological order, the files are not that way when I look at them in the folder.

See if you can do it that way and feel safe playing with the files.

But if I shut down the game I am going to lose all my progress. I can't figure out how to reduce the game screen cause my home button is not working. Is there another way to reduce the screen so I can get to the files without losing my progress?

Yes it did. Thanks, but guess what? I just got caught by a guard and the game is over. SO I lost all my progress after all. Mag please send me a save after I get caught by guard. I don't know what happened. I took the crow bar to knock down the rock and I was caught.

I found the exact file I need. However I have no clue where the file went.
I clicked on add save, then it says done, save successfully added. Added where? I can't find where it went? I think I am going to hang this game up if I don't get back on track soon. It's getting to be way too annoying.

OK I found where the file went but when I click on download the page that comes up is blank. Maybe the person with the files removed them?

I just click where it says
Download savegame 516 for 'Aura 2: The Sacred Rings'
(or whichever save number -- I tried several) and the save downloaded. Never mind that "Add Save" link.

Which save(s) do you need?

I tried again this morning I get blank pages when I click to download files. Jenny I need 507 and 508. One of those would put me where I was. Thanks.

OK I've emailed them to you. Hopefully your spam folder won't eat them.

If it does, I've uploaded them to Sendspace ***here***. Maybe you'll have better luck getting them from Sendspace than from the SaveGameServer website.
