I think my arm would get tired after awhile.
If it's a mouse-replacement, you'll have to decide where to put it. It can't go right or left of the keyboard the way the mouse often does or you'll be reaching to the side all the time for things that require two hands. If it goes in front of the keyboard then you'll have to reach too far for the keyboard -- and how will it react when you reach for the keyboard? I haven't seen any indication that it can replace a keyboard any more than a mouse could. Just about everything I do at the computer requires some amount of typing. They may say "Say goodbye to your mouse and keyboard." but I haven't seen any demos that convince me it can replace a keyboard. I can't even deal with flat keyboards with "touch keys." I need the feel of the keys under my fingers. And I certainly don't want a picture of a keyboard on my monitor blocking other parts of the screen.
It's not going to be something most people can use for very long if they have to be waving their whole arms in the air to operate it, though if most gestures would work by moving only your forearms and fingers while your upper arms were at your sides, it would work for most. It's certainly better than a touch screen where you get fingerprints all over your monitor.
