Thanks, Ana. The developers of this game are the same ones who brought us the Haunted Hotel series (the most recent one being Haunted Hotel: Charles Dexter Ward) and Sonya. I really liked their last two games so will be interested to see what this new game is like.

Played the demo for 30 minutes and I'm off to buy it. It's a great game! I like puzzles and this has a lot of them. I have a lot of games waiting to be played and I was only going to check this one out but I can't wait to get back to it.

It's the first scene so you can try the trial. I had to quit, I can't move the pieces in the first puzzle.

I think it's a technical difficulty - I see other folks are having technical problems with that puzzle as well.

That makes more sense. Her comment startled me when I read it (which is why I had to comment). In all the years I have monitered this forum I have never know Ana to just give up on a casual game. Besides writing some of the best walk thrus on the net she is one great puzzle solver.

You are such a sweetie oldman! Marian is correct, I was unable to move the pieces and I do not want to skip the puzzle since those are my favorite part of a game so I quit playing. I am hoping they come out with a new version.

I always monitor this forum, Ana, 24/7. In fact, it is the only one I do still monitor since losing Judy, God rest her soul. You should see my email inbox on the days when I was down for a day or two with network problems. LOL

Don't post that often or even play that many casual games anymore. Don't worry my son, his wife & two children (that live with me) keep Big Fish in business in my absence. Spend most of my time on Griddlers (great site) & CgCookie learning Blender & how to build games. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

I am happy to hear you have company in your home at least.

When you complete your game, I want to be the first to beta test the puzzles and I'll be happy to write the walkthrough for you.

Thank you for the condolences Ana, it has been a little over 2 & a half years now and I still miss her very much. It is ironic really, as I am the one with cancer & we both thought I would be the first to go. But like they say, you never know about these things. The Good Lord will take me when He is good and ready & not one second before. He wants me around for some reason so I just take it a day at a time & thank Him each night for that day.

As to the game; I am afraid it is but a small light in the depths of my mind that may never come to be a reality or if it does it will be sometime in the distant future. The only thing I can say for certain is that it will be an RPG (not the casual game side scroller kind), but a full fledged game along the lines of Morrowind & Skyrim (2 of my favorites). Of course it will be no where even close to that complexity or scope, don't have those kinds of resources or skills. For me it is strictly a hobby & I am enjoying learning the necessary modeling, character design and other skills needed to build a game.

Thank you very much for the offer though. I can't think of anyone else I would rather have topping my list of game testers than you, Marian and Margie B.

I too had problem with the slider puzzle early in the game. Was considering using a coupon code to get this game. But will wait to see if update is issued.

Guess I was lucky. I had no problem with the slider puzzle.

oldman I play RPG games as well, but the last one I had time for was Oblivian. It's good to have something to be working on.

Yes Ana, I'm running Win 7. I finished the game with no problems at all. I really enjoyed it!

I have Windows 7 as well. I did skip the slider puzzle in order to continue a bit further in the demo just to see if any other problems cropped up, but didn't want to go too much further in case I ended up buying the game. So, no way to be sure this is the only glitch.
