Ready for the big patch today? This patch will make a lot of changes to the talent system. I have a lot of toons so not looking forward to it. I also read that after today the Panda race will be available to play, but not as a Monk. I think you should buy the game first to play the Panda. I guess we will know later today.

I read the same Linds. I'm amazed they are letting folks play Panda without the expansion. I'm ready to get back to WoW, but like you, not looking forward to all the work I need to do to get up to speed with all my different toons.

I've got the expansion on pre-order. Maybe this will get me excited about Wow again!

I had quit for about a year, and when I came back wanted to start over with a new toon. But everyone I know on my server want to play their 85's and raid, so I didn't have them to play with. It got boring real fast. I started a new mage and I think she's about 35.

JeanK, I don't raid so I feel your pain. The new patch dropped today so I'm going to give it a few days before I log in and see all the new changes. wave

Hi Looney:

I downloaded some info yesterday that took hours, and now it says it's optimizing my game files, so if you haven't seen that message yet you might want to see if you have to do that. Just click on launcher. It takes an hour or so.

I'm just not into raiding anymore. I did so much I got burned out. It's too stressful. Maybe one day I'll want to again, but for now, I just want to have a good time!

Edited: OMG I'm just looking at the patch notes. Talents have been reset again!!!!!

Yes, they have and I think they changed substantially which is why I'm going to give it a while before I log back in. wave

I logged in just to delete an old toon so I can make a Panda when the time comes! I'm still working on Diablo 3, lol. At least I'm in the 4th act now.

Well, let me tell you these new talents are confusing. crazy I do like the one talent that my lock has that gives her really souped up mean looking demons.

Not sure how I feel about low lvl toons having the pets, mounts, titles and achievements that my high lvl toons worked so hard for. I didn't find my pet/mount journal until I disable my addons. I had 16 addons this morning that had updates with more to come.

Another thing that changed is the weapon slots. Hunters can't carry a range weapon and a off-hand weapon. My hunter had a polearm with high agility stats plus a ranged weapon. When I logged on her gun was in her bags. I'm sure if you have 2 one-handed range weapons you can carry both.

This is going to be a work in process for awhile. I'm not going to be able to play MoP until middle of Nov. so hoping some of the bugs will be worked out. I'll be reading everyone's posts to see what they think about the game.

Ouch, it sounds confusing. I logged into my lock the other day and couldn't remember how to get her pet to attack! Um, how do you? lol think In my defense I haven't played her in well over a year, and right now I'm at home with a herniated disc in my back and on all kinds of meds, so I'm a bit woozy. Sigh. woozy

Jean, I hope you get to feeling better.

My pet attack is bound to a key or they attack when you do if you have the "assist" turned on. I think. LOL. It has been a long time since I've played my lock as well.

Hi all!
I'm confused also. I finished the normal difficulty of D3 and didn't want to go on as the story doesn't change, just the monsters get stronger and the drops get better. I need more story content, so went back to MoP Beta. I have started to work on my old WoW toons and deleted a couple of toons I haven't played in a long time. I hope it all turns out good for everyone. I never got into raiding because the few I tried were too stressfull and the other players had no patience with me. I did like the dungeons though. I sure hope to see you in game sometime!

Andrea,
I'm sure I will be playing MoP, but with the trip and new Granddaughter coming I won't get to it until middle of Nov. You will be far ahead of me by then. I will need your help, until then I will see you in WoW.

Soot and I will be there I'm sure, though I don't know if we will play with our 85's or just start new Pandas. wave

I'm starting a new Panda since I totally forgot how to play, lol. They've changed so much that I'd never be able to learn it all again on my 85s. Plus, at 85 people expect you to raid and I'm done with raiding. I just want to have fun!

Me too, Jean. Some of the people playing the game can really ruin it for those of us boomers who are a little slower than a teenager.
