Nice to see you post. The book might be on the table at car close to the engine or on the floor beside that table.
Both the gloves and the book are not necessary to continue the game.
To uncouple the cars:
- you need light.
- checked-clicked the coupling and make a comment about it.
- cleaned the coupling.
There are 2 hotspots on that connection: coupling and lever. Be sure that you check both/the right one.
