Super Saturday ya'll It's a beautiful day in AL. Bright blue sky, glorious yellow sun, no clouds. A bit cool for my shorts, but very nice in all. Son is at work and the boys and I are hanging out. I thought we had Pancake Dogs in the freezer. Started to make them for the boys for breakfast and discovered they were corn dogs. So, corn dogs for lunch. Poor Skywalker is distraught. The boys are out back playing and he can't join them as he gets waaaaaaaaaaay too excited and, as a result, waaaaaaaaaaay to rough for them. I Must cook books today, whether it sounds like fun or not. Back later

So much to do, so little time. My friend/tenant's parent are coming to visit (after 10 years) and he is having to clean up his house (after 10 years). Ha. It's a mess! Everything all over, left over cat fur from 2 cats who are long gone, laundry from 5 years ago, dishes that are anywhere but in the cupboards, ditto pots and pans. Greasy topped stove and the dryer next to it, not to mention the walls, etc. AND cobwebs hanging from every ceiling halfway down the wall. Bathroom? Not even gonna mention it. I'm laughing because he finally has to neaten up the place. His parents are super critical of everything so I'm sure he won't want them to start in on his lack of housekeeping. Oh joy. THEN middle tenants are going to Seattle for 2 weeks about the same time to spend Thanksgiving with some of their 16 kids. Uhhuh. 16 I said it. Some from 'his' first marriage (and a few outside from affairs) and then the ones who are from this marriage. Loads of kids. I'm thrilled since that will be 2 weeks of empty house NOT using electricity for the sewer pump and not using water. Wheeeeee! I sure can use the $$$$$ break. AND my sister, is coming down from WA state on the 14th WITH her new boyfriend. He sounds great, real nice guy, lives near her, works, does all sorts of handyman stuff and I will get to meet him. Ah, love is in the air. He's already staying with her every night now and she thinks her roomnate gal is oblivious since the boyfriend 'sneaks' out in the wee hours of the morning. I enlightened sis. Roommate is just being discreet. Very funny. Off to walk and check out the neighborhood. Somebody's gotta do it.

Hey L4L, you likee crisp biscuit bottoms? Well, I gott'm....all shades of scorch. But they'r homemade buttermilk and so flavorfull. And I have only 1 burn spot and 1 cut spot....pretty good.
Cats are conneivers. Last week when my car was in the shop we ran out of dry cat food, coffee milk, my food, vegges. Most distressing was the dry food and they (4) certainly let me know their dissapointment. Commander Buttons -Meeeooowww in early mornings and walking in front of me upon occasion. But mostly one morning I gave him his Fancy Feast (which we had plenty of) and he didn't want it. MeeeooowMeeeooow, so I opened another flavor and in a different shaped dish and that bugger sniffed, looked at me and shoved that dish off the freezer and onto the floor between the fridge and freezer and then he ate it. He planned that.
Car back, I have my high blood presser meds and pantry is stocked. Ah, das suess leben.
Beautiful weather. I'm mad at my games. Wanta plant a garden. Grasshoppers gone.
Delightful weekend all

Hello everyone. We've been having rain here all day on and off. We have a thunderstorm passing over now. I'm surprised I still have internet. I've been out working around our entrance and the old well while it was not raining. I just finished my shower. I'd better post this quick. I hope you're all enjoying your Saturday. joe Edit: The second I hit submit I looked up and my internet was gone. Edit: It came back.

Roofer guy's son-in-law having a Halloween party over there. Fairly quiet so far. It's for the kids. So far we have about 15 cars all up and down the street. Fun part is the guy who doesn't talk to me anymore from across the street, parks his SUV in front of his house in the exact same spot all the time. Well, he went somewhere and not 2 minutes later, someone going to the party took HIS spot. Oh I'm laughing. It's exactly where he always parks and then he came back and found his spot gone and tried to park in front of it but overhung the driveway. Yup, very fun stuff going on.
I have ONE spot left in front of my house. Four cars here, and one to go for a full house. Lots of activity.
Kiddies have a jumper out back but I can hear the screaming clearly. One kid sounds like he/she is being murdered. Not kidding. I actually had to go out back to make sure nobody was injured. Geez.
Hope the party breaks up early. It started at 2:30.
