If I buy a game from Steam, do I have to be on the intenet and logged into Steam to pla the game I purchased? Or is it like the other web sites where I buy it and just go play without an internet connection?

There are games that can be played offline and some needs to be constantly online.

To be offline:
- You have installed the game on your computer already.
- Updated your steam client - I think.
- Select play offline in options.
- Or better yet - Turn off your internet connection and get the play offline option.

Maybe someone can correct me on this.
