Just finished this gem of a game. It was quite a bit of fun, but after I finished I realized that there were a few clickable areas that never did anything for the game.

Some items in the beekeeper's house, the tavern sign, the fruit machine, most of the items at the shop, the Tolkien appreciation club cave, and the troll's picket sign.

Do any of these have any secret uses? Is there any use for the troll's sign?

I did not find (yet) any listing of Easter eggs in this game. Maybe someone can find one.

As for those in your list, are there anything on them to make them active?

I can try verbs on them, but get the usual "that doesn't work" or "that's just plain silly" etc.

You can pick up the troll's sign and carry it in your inventory, but can't do anything with it.

The game finished just fine and the story was complete, I was just wondering.

I did have to look up hints a couple times (only 2 or 3), and in that walkthrough the author mentioned not being able to find a purpose for the sign either.
I think that was the GB walkthrough actually. lol

Hi.
I am playing this game NOW, and I'm looking at and picking up EVERYTHING. Reminds of the DISCWORLD games. VERY funny.

Hey Sanford, let me know how that works. Maybe it's trigger by a certain speech or something?

I played much of DW 1, but stopped and have yet to finish. Haven't played DW 2 yet. I really hope the series finds its way to GOG.

Hi, Coreoverload,
The "trick" to getting funny responses is to RIGHT click and LEFT click virtually EVERYTHING in sight. Many times you will get a hilarious response, but of course, LEFT clicking on some "things" will get the "That doesn't work" reply. It's worth it in order to hear all the funny stuff, ESPECIALLY the "inuendos", some of which are "suggestive" and HILARIOUS. This goes for all THREE DW games.
Happy Gaming,
Sandy
