do not pay any attention to them they are scam's.. do not give them any information on your computer... just hang up on them..

That is what I did. It seems weird and especially on April 1 -

Do you know a software that is free to get rid of the errors on the computer?

Hi Ng
You probably don't have any errors on your computer. They just want money from you.

This scam has been doing rounds in the UK for years. By downloading their 'special' software you will give them access to your computer and personal details. I sometimes play along with their requests without doing anything purely to waste their time. Just hang up...or if you want some fun... lol evil

Run, run, run... this is one of the worst scams out there. Microsoft will NEVER call you out of the blue and no one has any way of knowing what is or isn't on your computer.

I got a call from these same people, at least the scam was the same. The first bell went off when the person at the other end starting talking and was doing so with marbles in his mouth. Bell number two went off when he said my computer was reporting errors. I thought that was funny for two reasons: one, I have to okay any reports before they are sent; two, the computer was off so not on line. How was a machine, which was shut off, reporting problems? So I told him, "no it isn't", and hung up. I hate dealing with call centers in India because not one person I've ever spoken to can speak anything close to understandable English over the phone.
