This is the email I got back from GOG. Can anybody figure it out. I have no idea what they are talking about. I figured it out got all of the saves.include the last one. Thank you Richard Please use the save files from your previous playthrough to continue the story in the full game. If you don't have save files you can try using these: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/106372714/Broken%20Sword%205.zip Place the Broken Sword 5 directory from the archive in your My Documents directory. Here is a message from the developer: Thank you so much for all your messages and support. To be clear, Episode 2 is a free update for those have already bought Episode 1 on PC/Mac/Linux. Because of this you will need to continue the game from the last save - if you no longer have a save game then let us know at support@revolution.co.uk and we will send you one. We are hearing reports that the GoG version is not running correctly from Episode 1 into Episode 2, and that the Mac version is yet to be made available. We are working with GoG to try and resolve these problems - we apologise for the delay. For Kickstarter backers who have yet to redeem the game at all, please log in to your backer panel via our new website here: http://accounts.revolution.co.uk/login

Oh God, I just played quite a lot, and possibly this is just episode 1.
And finding saved games on a Mac is usually quite a nightmare.
Thanks Ana!
Edit: Phew, I just found the saved games in the Library, Application Support then Broken Sword 5.

ana. Samuel, The game if bought now is played as one game (part 1 and 2 together). As stated, the posted walkthrough is for part 1 only; part 2 will be added as soon as I replay and write. Finished the game this afternoon. Life is calling!

dragon, if you've already bought and installed the first chapter of BS5 from Steam, then all you should need to do is run a game update and then continue with your save game from the end of chapter one. A forum member on Steam adds: "Set the update priority of the game to "high - ASAP" and then try to restart Steam. if this doesn't work, you can only wait. the update should arrive eventually." Hope that helps.

Although I haven't needed any help as I didn't download the game until both parts of it were finished and made available via GOG, I just wanted to say that as a "backer" I've had emails - from both Kickstarter and Revolution - offering saved games/assistance for BS5. So it looks like help for those with problems IS definitely out there

I am playing Episode two with no problems I just overwrite the save like Rushes said and its fine. The only worry I have is that it will finish very quickly, does anyone know if it is a long episode, I just hate for it to end. Regards Maggsie

The goat has a voice? You've got me, chrissie. I was playing the game late last night and had the sound turned down to avoid having the neighbors banging on the walls so I really can't tell you. Maybe she bleats or whatever goats do. At any rate, Rolf Saxon is listed as giving her a voice and I did laugh when I saw that. (Turns out, our evil friend is a she though I'd sure never have guessed; looks like a male to me.) Gil.
