It's a pretty mild timed sequence, Mad.
Take it from someone who doesn't like them any more than you do.
Click to reveal..
As soon as Stig starts to leave, pick up the tape from inventory and slap it on the open door.

Oh, wait...you're out of the hold.
Okay, then where are you? In the hallway?
Click to reveal..
If you're there, go upstairs.
If you go down you'll be caught.
You'll hear voices coming from the bridge.
Hide against the wall so the door conceals you when it opens.
Go to the unlocked cabin which is the black strip on the right.
In the cabin, click on the trenchcoat and thoroughly examine the suitcase.
Look at the briefcase.
Look at the only other exit from the cabin.
That's your way out.

What did you think about the game's ending?

It was very...interesting. Definitely wasn't expecting the story to take that turn. It was a bit strange and a little dark, but a good twist. I'm just glad I didn't have to act out any flashback scenes as Jonatan with Sara. wink

That wasn't a fair question to ask you, was it?
So, to the last part of your comment...I can believe that!

The maitre just keeps opening and closing the window. What else is there to do.
When I go to the exit I just go outside.

Richard,

Click to reveal..
After you turn up the heat on the radiator and say good-bye, you wait until the maitre d' opens the window.
Then click on the exit.
Ord makes a comment about opening the door.
He doesn't go out but sees the prism fall.
If that doesn't help, try watching this playthrough on YouTube.
Start at 6:21.

JonVox said it was up on the web so I just hopped over to YouTube.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the game, Richard.
It has certainly kept us occupied and out of trouble, hasn't it? wink

I hope everyone had fun with it...even if it did get a little difficult at times, and very weird at others. Ha! It definitely helped having all these brains working together to solve some of these puzzles. I never would have passed some of those areas without everyone's help.

Keep an eye out for another one I'm doing some voice work on right now called "Quest For Infamy" (There, that's my shameless plug for the game...bwahahaaaa)

I'm a backer, JonVox!
I hope you'll be back when I get stuck there.
Believe me, I'll take all the help I can get.
grin
Like to tell us which voices you'll be supplying in Quest for Infamy?
Sure you would.

Gil.

Ha! I always enjoy taking about voices. As of right now I'm voicing a cowboy like character named Swart, a guy named Marlon, who's got a tough guy Brooklyn accent...."fughedaboudit" And then am old drunk named Japsworth.

That's awesome that you're a backer! Thank you very much! It's looking like a super cool project.

Hi JonVox smile

I'm a "Quest for Infamy" backer too - and it's shaping up to be a good game from the look of things. Especially loving the graphics style thumbsup

[I still replay some of those old Quest for Glory games.]

And the "sounds" as well ??
I'll have to make sure to check out your voice acting when I get my hands on the game lol

Just about to start my next session of Paradox and hoping not to require assistance - but if there's a timed element, I'm sure I will taz

EDIT :
Never got to play - unexpected caller !! Have to try again later laugh

Cheers.

Tell Blackthorne that I'll give him an extra nickel if he adds the voice actors' names to the credits.
I hate it when I really like a voice actor and he or she doesn't even get a mention, especially when they can be so important to the game.

One of my favorite games is the RPG Divine Divinity and can I find out who voiced the male Warrior or John the Dragon Rider or the wizard Zandalor who are incredibly good?
Ha.
Although the game is not completely voiced, they and some others add so much to it that I cannot figure out why they aren't named somewhere.
They can't possibly be ashamed or dismissive of their work in a PC game, can they?
Rolf Saxon, Tim Curry and Mark Hamill, to name a few, certainly aren't.

Anyway, twist his arm or bribe the guy and get your name in the credits! grin
You never know when a game will turn out to be a Classic in its genre.

Gil.

Btw, you might want to tell QFI that Richard is right.
Trying to download the demo you get an error message.
Not good for anyone who might be interested in seeing what the game is like with the notion of buying it.

Finished the game !! yes

And quite enjoyed it .... Apart from the timed sections ....

[Hate that type of stuff in Adventure games - where failure means going over and over the same bits. It takes away from the continuity of the game as far as I'm concerned thumbsdown

However, I would certainly try another by this developer smile

Hi everyone, I'm the author of this game and responsible for all the damage done to your heads and the nearest walls.

(And hi JonVox btw :))

Thanks a lot for giving this a serious chance despite its difficulty (and timed events, cough cough). It's brave to tackle a game like this without a walkthrough, but someone has to do it first!

I feel both excited and a bit guilty when I realize how many man hours that have been spent here.
So sorry and thank you smile
