Does anyone know how to solder the circuits in the Roller Coaster Circuit box? I keep blowing up the park. Thanks, Susan

Hi Susan, I have this game sitting infront of me for 2 days - gotta install it sometime. This is what the guide states: . . . . . . . . . . . 1. review the handbook that Ingrid gave on sections 'circuits' and 'soldering'. 2. Read the note left by Nick inside the reader cover. 3. Take the 5 OHM resistor from your inventory and insert it into the right side of the circuit board. 4. Use solder gun to solder the wires leading to the 10 OHM resistor (since Nick's not states - need 15 OHMS) and to the switch in the upper left corner. ---- Do not solder anything else on the board. 5. Flip the switch to on. MaG

Linds, both combinations numbers will be close (same area) to where you need them. Not sure if you're actually asking for locations, so yell if you can't find them.

Thanks Mag. I know what you mean about Barnacle. It took me about 15 tries to get the second level. Good Luck. Susan

Hi Susan, Dowel making- The way I did this is: 1. by placing the broken dowel by the ruler at opposite end of the room from the lathe. 2. Made note of where the start-end of the thin portion of the dowel is situated - If I remember right at 3 and ~10 or 11 - please check the end part. 3. Then tested which controls on the lathe works for what. a. After using goggles, click the unprepared dowel on the on/off part of lathe at left side - dowel inserted then. b. The needle/saw at center can be moved right-left. Place the needle/saw at position 3. b. Then adjust the switch on the right for the correct depth of the saw/needle. Left - not touching, middle - slight groove made and the right setting is the deepest cuts. ---- So use the deepest-rightmost setting. ---- Cut this way moving the saw going to the right. ---- Then note that the original broken dowel has a small shallower cut at right end. ---- Adjust the depth of the cut to the middle setting on the right switch, the position of the saw to the rightmost part and make that shallow cut. This should make a dowel Nancy will approve of. MaG

Hi HST, To make Harlan disappear: You should know about jewel theft by looking at the newspaper clipping on wall of the office. Know from the detective about the released cellmate of the jewel thief. Detective should have called you or call him. Ingrid: She will disappear when you try to get in the compartments in the carousel and you contact Tink. I think both of them will disappear when you start doing the riddles. MaG

Hi MaG, Got the dowel made. You are the best as always. I just wanted to let you know that the rightmost part with the slightly shallower end is made by the first setting- not the second. Thanks again, Susan

I am getting cross-eyed trying to write the notes down as the tissues blow for roll three at the carousel. Does someone know the notes? Thanks, Susan

I'll admit that stenography course that came by e-mail wasn't the greatest, Page. I had to dig out my memories of Shorthand 101 to get it. The name is: SPOILER * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * GLORY

When I put in Spoiler and hit enter it just erases the name- what am I missing? I am capitalizing it.
