Hi, same!

The premise of the game is that your friends went on ahead to Cyclone for a little R&R but, by the time you arrive, they're missing along with most of the townspeople. It's up to you to find out who's causing everyone to disappear and why.

After you've searched your room thoroughly, move to the one next door (Room #6), which was occupied by some of your friends, and then to the motel office. If you've tried to view the videos, you've already discovered that each television contains a teleporting device which will land you at the mouth of Devil's Canyon. You need to find something to block the teleporting device, and the motel office might be a good place to start. If you *stick* the correct item to the television sets, you can watch all of the videos. Each one contains a hint for solving one of the puzzles and they'll be in your "Flashback" file if you need to refresh your memory.

There are 12 Bahos (prayer sticks) hidden throughout Cyclone. Each time you find one, you'll notice a symbol nearby. There is a book of all 12 symbols in the library which you can use for reference. Pay attention to the symbol and then run, don't walk, to the canyon and locate the corresponding petroglyph (symbol) on the canyon wall. You'll also notice that the prayer stick drains your life essence (as well as the petroglyphs), so you don't want to hang onto those Bahos any longer than is absolutely necessary. After you find the corresponding petroglyph on the canyon wall, click your Bahoe on it and a tangram puzzle will be revealed. Solve that and head to the back of the canyon until you come to some stairs. Go up the stairs until you locate a blue box with symbols on the outside. Click on that and the door to the Kiva (altar) will open. Place your Bahoe in the correct hole on the altar and most, if not all, of your life essence will be restored.

I would strongly recommend that you save your game at the mouth of the canyon because you can take your time locating the correct petroglyph and, when you find it, simply restore your game and head straight for it. I'd also recommend that you save your game before placing your Bahoe on the altar because if you stick it in the wrong hole, you'll lose it. Once you've placed your first Bahoe, all of the puzzles will open up to you, and you can attack them in any order you choose.

To start you off, once you've finished exploring the motel office, ring the bell and get your reward :-)!

This is one of my all-time favorite games, so holler if you need any more help.

Susan

Hi, same!

If you "pay your respects", you'll be rewarded. The situation isn't as "grave" as you may think :-)!

Good luck, and holler if you need any more help!

Hi, same!

The object of this puzzle is to move all of the pieces so the reverse side of the the same picture is displayed. The pieces can be moved up, down, right or left, or any combination of all four. Unfortunately, I don't have all of the moves written down, but I can give you the first one. Move the bottom right piece right and up.

Good luck!

Susan

Hi, same!

Congrats on solving the picture puzzle. I also had problems with that one.

I don't think piecing together the letter is necessary to complete the game so, as long as you can read most of it, you'll be fine.

The best description of how to solve this puzzle that I've found is here . It still sounds pretty confusing, but maybe you can figure it out...

Hi, same!

Congrats on solving the card puzzle. I'm glad my suggestion helped :-)!

Did you find the picture of the mausoleum puzzle to use as a guide? The only suggestion I have for solving it is to be patient and, whatever you do, don't accidentally click on the puzzle because it will reset itself and you'll have to start all over again. How do I know this? Take a guess <VBG>!

Good luck!

Susan

It's true that your reward is a key; but it's not to be found until later. Be glad you solved this one. Go on with the game - the Barbershop perhaps?

You will find (and need) the key later.

It's not a bug, it's just that there are several requirements for the car-lift to work:

The pressure must be set to 230.

You must have solved the chess problem in the main room of the gas station. (Collect all four chess pieces to do that)

You must have viewed the music video showing the number 230 on a car's license plate, or the compressor won't work.
