Good morning everyone. Excellent news about Mr. Gobbles...hoping for his recovery. Say hello to Lynda for us Connie and wish her a speedy recovery. Enjoying WADDB and bagels before I'm off and running for the day. Have a wonderful Monday everyone.

Good Monday morning. Back to chilly, sunny fall days. That 80 degree stuff was for the birds!
Mr. Gobbles is still up and eating. Today marks one week since he came to us. He's got at least another week before we'll start even thinking about him being out of the woods.
I usually leave a hummingbird feeder up until November 1 just in case there are any late travelers coming through. But this year I had a small swarm of honeybees on it! So, I mixed up more sugar water and put another one out there for them. I don't know if they were swarming to make a new colony or what, but they were still here yesterday.

Good morning all.
Just finished a morning walk and then I'm off shopping.
I'll try for the x-ray again this week; however, that said, I stopped going to physio and all of a sudden there's a marked improvement in my pain levels. It still hurts significantly, especially at night, but I'm having some long periods during the day where the pain is negligible. The physiotherapist insisted on using Shockwave therapy on it, and I suspected that was making things worse. Now I'm sure it did. I'm happy to not be using pain meds so much, because both Tylenol and Advil give me terrible night sweats and insomnia and Tramadol turns me into a zombie for about 24 hours.
I'm so glad to hear Mr. Gobbles is still with us.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
