I am beginning to have trouble with the game and wonder whether I need a patch. I am on Zenobia, on the submarine, firstly the datapad was not showing all the numbers and letters only one line (I checked the help on screen and could see what it should look like) so I went back to a previous saved game but now I can't prop the door open, I have picked up the metal stick and double checked I haven't forgotten to do something but when I click the lever I now don't get the option to keep the door ajar, which I could last time. Any ideas??

If your version of the game is older than version 1.2, the patch is here

If you're already patched, reboot and go back to an older save (or restart the level if it allows you).

Well its made no difference I cannot get the datapad to work, I tried putting in the right letters from the w/t and it would not accept anything, went back to the previous game and the same thing happened I could not place the metal bar, therefore I cannot progress. I did restart the computer as advised after loading patch. The only thing I can think of now is to delete the game and reinstall - anybody any other ideas - Please!

If the game has not detected that you found the numbers during your explorations, it may not accept them. You may have to do something to trigger the availability of the numbers.

Also I believe you have to insert the proper nano SD.

I assume you're using the correct datapad. I'm pretty sure there's more than one in that level.

I have gone back through MaG's w/t and am pretty certain that I have done everything correctly, I know it is the correct datapad because it came from the corpse, and it did work at first, but I could see that it was going to take a while to solve so I saved and went back to it which was when it appeared corrupted. I did have trouble downloading the game because Norton took exception to it, so I will go back and turn Norton off and re download the patch, also I intend to delete the last few saved games and replay them according to the w/t. Will let you know how I get on

Well after some hesitation I came back to the game and deleted all the save games for Zenobia, I then followed MaG's w/t to the letter - but still problems I cannot prop open the door to the back room, I have picked up the metal rod but I do not get the option to insert it. The first time I played the game I did get the option and went ahead until the datapad problems, has anybody any ideas before I have to abandon the game as I cannot progress.
