Hi everyone. I was starting a new game of Skyrim on my new laptop, and it runs great. But I noticed that the thing you slide to use as a mouse (I'm so technical, aren't I? lol) takes awhile to move left and right, like I have to slide, slide slide, and THEN my character has finally made the turn in the game. Just wondering if this is something anyone else has had happen, and what I might be able to do about it?

I can get all the laptop specs if needed, but for now it's a new HP Pavilion with Windows 10. smile

Thanks so much!
Tracy

"thing you slide to use as a mouse?"
Do you mean the touchpad?
*** Google's touchpad pictures ***

There is probably some adjustment for "touchpad speed" on the laptop, But if the touchpad is only misbehaving inside the game, it doesn't make much sense to adjust the speed. But here's a site that tells how to do adjust touchpad speed in Windows 10
***How-To Geek Touchpad Tweaks***
Look under "Further Laptop-Centric Tweaks"

Or just try plugging in a real USB mouse and see if it works better than the "thing."

Go for a real USB mouse - if you are talking about the touchpad, it is not very conducive to gaming.
