Diane, All three areas (potentiometers, peghead, and switch) work together for an even larger puzzle. You can make adjustments any time if the final solution doesn't work.

Sami, Check the back of the columns in the main hall. There is a lever you may have missed.

Sami, You must enter the button code on Arin's vault door (up the ladder) and the main vault by the strummer elevator. If that doesn't work, let me know. I can send you the final puzzle settings for you to check.

Diane, the same thing happened to me & my problem was with the water tone switch. It was not set properly. Try going back to the switch & pulling the lever again.

Diane, The planets in the jacktower spherin are different from the ones that got you to the top of the tower. (In the walkthrough, you may have been looking at the part that refers to the planet panels in the cabins.) You must go back to the potentiometers in the planetarium and set those panels according to the spherin.
Remember, you don't have to replay any of the puzzles in this game. They can be fixed without having to start over.

Do you have to go through the whole game of going back and forth for example: solving the bird code for the flyer. Do I have to go back down to the cabins and listen to each bird or can I just go to the solution? I have not been able to end the game. I got to thinking maybe it was because I skipped that part to obtain the solution to the flyer code. I got everything set right because after completeing the puzzles everything worked like it was supposed to. The ball turned in the Switch, the bullet elevator came up, the lever worked to turn the flyer in the tower and the sphere came out of the conservatory puzzle everything has worked after solving the puzzles as they should have worked the only thing I can think of that fouled up the game is my not following through with the solutions. <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" /> <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />

Dutch, You do not have to redo anything as this is a very non-linear game. I could start a new game right now, plug in the correct codes from my notes, and have a successful ending. However, it is essential that you have the three parts of the guitar set correctly according to the videos in the spherins.
Check the switch first. You may have forgotten to pull the lever after you set the water tone machine. Check the potentiometers to make sure you have chosen the correct planets.
Check the "Alida Quest" thread because several people had the same problem with this part. Good luck!
