It's possible the download was damaged when it was interrupted. You should probably check the md5 of the file to see if the download is OK. The md5's are posted at the Humble download page --

Though using a torrent solves the problem with broken downloads, some ISP's block the default torrent ports, and you also need other people seeding the file. For whatever reason, the torrent wasn't working for you.

Is this similar to what you got when you extracted the Dreamfall zip you downloaded?
If it is, the problem may be Panda rather than a broken download. You could try setting Panda to ignore the Dreamfall files. I found instructions here...
