In Aunt Eloise's house the safe contains among things a box which seems to have a sliding tile puzzle on it.

But when I click on this I just get a blank area of wood not pieces I can move around. Is this a puzzle you can only do later?

Thanks, Peter.

No, you should be able to do the puzzle now. That's a little weird. Actually what you get as a result of solving the slider, is a clue that gives you access to something later. If it turns out you never get to see the slider, we can give you the information when you need it. That will be some time later.

Known bug (see http://www.herinteractive.com/prod/sck/tech.shtml#puzzle )

I assume it's how to log onto the computer. Trial and error got me that "Eloise Drew" is the username but guesswork wasn't enough for the password.

I haven't been able to do anything with "MITCH" that the highlighted letters in a book in Aunt Eloise's study spells out. I was hoping it was going to be the key to opening the braille lock but I isn't one of the letters.

Hopefully being able to do the box puzzle will move me forward.

Regards, Peter.

If you can't get the puzzle box open, Peter, here is a clue to the password (only a clue, not the password itself): MILD SPOILER

You will need three words--and they are an anagram of Eloise Drew.....

I did get the puzzle box open (Aunt Eloise has an elevated opinion of herself) but only after half an hour of trying ... I'm not a fan of slider puzzles, you get everything nearly right and then it all goes pear shaped again ...

There is probably a smart way of solving them true.

Regards, Peter.
