I downloaded this game and can not get it to run right on my windows 10 laptop. I tried using the intel graphics processor but that didnt work. I tried the nvidia 1050 ti processor and it works better but there is still problems. Some of the text is missing and once you do get into the game there is no mouse pointer. Not sure what else to try to get it to work properly....Any ideas?

Since the problems seem to be related to graphics (missing text, missing cursor), maybe your video card is too new -- or its drivers are too new.

You could try experimenting with DxWnd, which is supposed to fix some DirectX-related problems (among other things)

There were some suggested settings for DxWnd in this thread relating to Return to Mysterious Island (also a Kheops game) that might also apply to Destination: Treasure Island
https://sourceforge.net/p/dxwnd/discussion/general/thread/338ad17b/

I have loaded Destination Treasure Island on my Windows 10 64 laptop. Although it loaded fine, all I get is a blank screeen. The sound is good and I can hear everything loading to game. I just don't get anything. Anyone know anything I can do. I tried loading on older versions. That didn't work. Don't know what else to do. Help....anyone.

welcome to GameBoomers.

Another poster with Windows 10 was just asking the same question, how to get the game to run properly, and so I merged your post with this previous thread.

Let's wait and see if anyone has further suggestions.

If I use the intel graphics I get the splash screens but no game. If I use the nvidia 1050 ti, I dont get the splash screens but it does finally go to the main menu. The main menu has some missing text but there is a mouse pointer and I can get the game started. Once the game starts though the mouse pointer is gone and nothing else can be done. I tried changing many different settings and nothing so far has worked. frown
