I have the disk version of Mafia but I am unable to load it onto my windows 10 laptop. The first disk loads just fine but when you switch to disk 2 it stops responding and there is no way to proceed. Any ideas?

Looks like he has XP, but it might work with later Windows if you see similar options.

I got it to work. I created a new folder on drive D named Mafia. I copied all the files from each of the three disks into the new folder and I was able to just run the game from there.

That's good.
I guess it doesn't need registry entries installed.
Hopefully no further problems.

If you do have further problems with it, GOG has all three Mafia games now.
