I'm looking for the type of HOG that has you searching for multiples of the same object in each scene. Each scene would have different objects to find. Example: scene 1, look for keys, scene 2 look for apples, scene 3 etc etc and so on. And no timer to worry about. Are there any games out there that are like this?

I can think of some hidden object games that have some screens of this type, but I can't offhand think of a HOG that has all its HO scenes set up like this - this doesn't mean there aren't any, though. If I find anything, I will let you know.

I can't remember any HOGs with search scenes set up with just multiples of the same objects, however, Totem Tribe (or Totem Tribe Gold) has you looking for gems in each scene. It also contains some puzzles as well as looking for several other same items to obtain magical items from treasure chests in between building and defending your group.

These games contain some same item scenes - Pure Hidden, Settlement- Colossus and The Fall Trilogy-Chapter 1.

Hopefully other members have better suggestions.

Thank you for all of those helpful suggestions, Meems. Much appreciated. wave

If I remember correctly, Settlement: Colossus has quite a few screens where you are looking for multiples of the same item. And interestingly enough, the game was developed by 5 BN, who have since gone on to make all of those great HOPAs.

I've been playing an old series called Awakening and, at least in the first two games, there seem to be quite a number of this type of HOG scene. I'm only in the second game so I don't know about the rest yet.

I like that series, oldbroad. I plan on replaying them this year.

I have a "repetitive" Big Fish game called Art Detective - where I mainly just have to find differences between paintings - on screen after screen.

A nice game to play when I am feeling more mindless than usual !! wink
