Has anyone played these Dead Secret games? They're cute and fun. grin I can't find a text walkthrough for this sequel though, maybe I didn't look hard enough, lol. There's one optional puzzle I'm stuck on and it's driving me nuts. There's a puzzle magazine in the main character's apartment bathroom, on back of toilet, in which you have to decipher the alien language. 5 letters. There's a description of a mystery novel on the back of the magazine that makes reference to several Hitchcock movies, but I can't figure how that helps with the solution of the puzzle. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it'd be much appreciated. thumbsup

There is a YouTube video walkthrough here. I do not know if this walkthrough includes the optional puzzles in the puzzle magazine, though. It might be worth taking a look.

Maybe you could also post your question in the Steam forum for the game, if you haven't already - you might get a response there from another player.

The game looks like fun. smile

I have them both downloaded to be played so I can't help you but I'm glad to hear that you think they are "cute and fun".

oldbroad, yes! They're very enjoyable. Short little games, or the first one was anyway. But a very interesting story, and I like that aspects of the story from the first game continue in the second one. I'm liking the second game even better than the first.

Thank you Marian. I got the solution from that walkthrough, but unfortunately, I don't know how they got the solution, haha! I'll have to go back to that one later. Luckily, it's an optional puzzle, I think. But I'd still like to know how they got that answer. think

I would want to know the explanation for the puzzle too, Tristy. I hope you can find out. smile
