I bought this game as soon as I heard it had come out, and didn't bother playing the Demo, because I have enjoyed every game in this series so far. I like that the stories don't take place in some alternate reality, with all that purple smoke nonsense, but transpire on Earth (albeit in an older time period). The characters are human, their motivations familiar. The actions make sense. No one behaves in a stupid or careless way to advance the plot.
The artwork is of the best quality. The puzzles are pesky enough to please me (although some were dead easy, but hey). The game world is huge, with scene upon scene, all beautifully rendered. I keep marveling at how long I have been playing it and yet so much of the game remains ~
and I bought the CE, so I'll have some extra play at the end.
And did I mention: It takes place in Paris, one of my favorite cities, and I enjoyed reliving walking the streets again and taking that breathtaking ride up the Tour Eiffel.
